A brief explanation of the name follows: Melliflowus is an alteration of the word mellifluous, which
means sweet or musical, pleasant to hear. The flow incorporated in the name provide a further
inclusion of the idea of unity and flow in audio and visual ambience.

Cooper Black should be used for headlines/subheadings. This serif font can be easily read
while retaining a more modern feel. Within Cooper Black family, usage of italics or outline purple: rgb(67, 60, 114) cmyk(41%, 47%, 0%, 55%)
should be used when creating subheadings. The outline version most notably while the lighter orange: rgb(254, 168, 153) cmyk(0%, 34%, 40%, 0%)
and brighter colors are in use. red/pink: rgb(234, 92, 176) cmyk(0%, 61%, 25%, 8%)

The purple conveys the creativity aspect of this brand specifically with each client receive
specialized needs. The orange represents inspiration and confidence of this brand that each
project will be unique. The pink, with darker hue incites passion and drive in this brand
while exciting the heart. The secondary colors of yellow and blue really bring in the flow
that allow the primary colors to blend and meld into one another and really drive home
MelliFLOWus.

Logo Logotype
Melliflowus Logo and Logotype
The foundation for the logo is based on the ideas of creation and music, the belief all life has
rhythm and rhythms drive our interactions. At its core, the logo consists of three forms: the Seed of
life, the Circle of 5ths, and the Flower of life. The logotype further conveys the message of rhythm
through its curved strokes connecting to crisp, clean strokes.

Use the logo for promotional materials that feature copious of amounts of text. The backgrounds of
webpages and brochures would be the most commonly used examples of materials with copious
amounts of text or as icons for media platforms, where the logotype would not display clearly. In
addition, any light fixtures that will project should only have the logo without the type. Artists are
free to continue the repeating pattern of the Flower of Life as they see fit as long as the central
forms within the outer flower remain unchanged.

The combination logo/logotype 1 should be the primary graphic visual when presented in media
forms. Profile pictures, or banners must use combination logo/logotype 1. In addition, should
graphic representations of Melliflowus be required use logo/logotype 1; unless it is necessary to
adjust forms for clarity in said publication. Logo/logotype 2 should be used sparingly and only

Rarely use the logotype alone. Examples include when Melliflowus appears in an extensive

artists should use the repeating pattern of the outer flower as the border around the logotype.

Melliflowus Sample Advertisement
For this sample advertisement, Melliflowus went with the type and logo sans the type for
the primary portions of the brand identification. The advertisement is a flier/poster for an
underground dance party at a popular nightlife location.

The primary color of purple and the secondary color of blue was used to create the gradient in
the background. The logo proper mixes the primary colors purple, red, and orange. These colors
juxtaposed with the top blue half of the background blends for subtle image definition. The text
font was created in the yellow to provide the bright contrast for easy reading.

The logotype is displayed in the type font. As you can see, transforming through effects is
perfectly fine as long as the type itself is not altered to another font. Cooper Black was used for
the title of the event. Since this a sample print collateral the pertinent information regarding date,
time, and location were printed in Rockwell.

This layout was chosen, as it would be posted on notice boards and telephone poles around the
city. This is a guerilla style of advertisement and tactic to draw in the inquisitive adventurers.

This emphasizes the performance abilities as well as the event planning of Melliflowus. It is
designed attract those who consider themselves in-the-know.

This Sample brochure is designed to market towards the private event crowd. Ages range from 23-
35. It displays a simpler side of the Melliflowus brand geared towards a more professional crowd The cards are designed on a 2.5 x 3 business card with a .25 bleed

The most prominent colors in this brochure are secondary colors. These provided softer contrast
