To safeguard the companys interests in all aspects of commercial/contracts management lifecycle. Negotiate contracts/agreements and provide commercial knowledge and guidance to BGI staff.
Secondary Purpose of the Position
To support Business Unit and functional departments in all commercial matters as necessary.
Main Duties of this Position
Review client/customer terms and conditions and advise on risks, cost
drivers and propose acceptable commercial positions, to the Business Unit Conduct and support negotiations with customers to achieve the best position for BGI ENERGY SERVICES LTD which reflects the agreed sign- off position. Draft, review, manage & maintain Business Unit commercial and contractual arrangements (e.g. MOUs, sales contracts, teaming agreements, collaborative arrangements, licence agreements, NDAs, etc) Liaise with projects and technical staff to ensure contracts accurately reflect the programme of work Work with finance colleagues to ensure acceptable cash flows and payment profiles are contractually agreed Present commercial aspects of proposals at internal bid reviews, to all levels of seniority Work within BGI corporate guidelines for contracts and ethics Conduct pre- and post contract award reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure the contractual obligations are known, understood and being properly addressed Input to and deliver Business Unit commercial strategy Proactively support company compliance to Health and Safety legislation through adherence to company polices, processes and practices. Ensure that all business activity is conducted in line with company values, policies and ethics codes of conduct. Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management
JOB REQUIREMENTS Industry Specific Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in expediting, purchase, scheduling for an engineering or construction company.
