Centuries had past, Noli Me Tangere (Touch me Not) of Dr. Jose P.

Rizal is still making its noise in

history of literature and even deepen the hole of revolution. Noli widely awaken the Filipinos new
generation and the upcoming generation as how revolution starts in very simple way. Noli is a love story
between Crisostomo Ibarra and Maria Clara which setting is also about hatred, slavery, murder, torture
and abused of powers. By revealing it in a way of telling it as a story rouse contradiction of the Spaniards
in publishing it and prevent people in early times in reading the book as it contains flaws of the
Spaniards.

If I live in those times, imagining myself as one of the characters and have known the real
situations behind those kind of happenings. From having a strict environment, from not knowing what
to act in certain setting, from having every days burden it seems like it was much harder than what we
have thought in mind. The cruelness of leadership the invader of our land made to us, the punishments
and the forlorn they have done make the people of the motherland try its best to fight in each way they
know.

Way back of thinking things that happen, if I were to wear the shoe they are wearing. I would
rather do each solution my mind came up to think. Knowing that hard times came like a blow of the
wind. It happens as fast as we cant even do to recover. Each painful word, slaps, kicks, and every ounce
of abusive act that refrain them from holding back. Even I, now that I broadly know the situation and the
life occurrence of each Filipinos who fought back to win the motherland of every invader. I must say I
would to everything that could help them. Even just a simple thing! Hardship in every battle, each ink
the pen had wrote make big difference. Then, why holding back if I know i could make a little change?
Respecting every action that the revolution men had made, each of them had fought. I may not be like
Gat Andres Bonifacio and General Antonio Luna who fought in many battlefield and wage a war to
defeat the colonizers; I may also not able to be like Dr. Jose P. Rizal who used pen believing it is a
weapon mightier than the swords and wrote silly things about the Spaniards and telling the truth by
using no harm but I will be a person doing some anew things on my own without doing harmful actions
that can cause my family and fellow Filipinos to suffer. I will do it by my own.

Everyone can fight, just believing that you can do it, can make a good change. Stopping an
action is not a solution. Putting some bloody war can change or not, writing an opposite work from what
others want to see can make a change or not. No one can undo the past, it happen and it already carve
in the history. All we can do now is to protect and to give importance to what happen before as we
already know that it occurs and many suffer from it. We can credit those who died for our independency
by remembering them in every simple decision and action they have done to make a big change. I
believe that, nothing is impossible and many circumstances have proven it. Impossible that takes you
from the peak and changes you. But remember, everyone who died for saving the freedom we possess
now is the true heroes. They are heroes that will never be forgotten and generations from generations
will never buried what they have made to take us to this place.
