VC_ENGINE_TYPE - click create

If you check entry required it becomes mandatory in Cu50

Once length defined in FORMAT , it cant be decrease SO BE CAREFUL .

Value Assignment Single Value Like only one engine can be there
Multiple Value Accessories Seat leather , Car Audio , Speaker ,
Mats , Reverse Indicator , spoiler , A/C ( Can select multiple Material ) in CU50 for data
available , it becomes checkbox so that user can select multiple values .

Once user have defined something as single value and it has been consumed in business , it cant be changed to
multiple and vice versa .

Default Something which should come automatically .

CU50

Create Another characteristic in general for additional requirement like any modification in CAR if requred .
Check the additional data . This will help us enter additional data in CU50

Not Ready for input if checked here , it will make the field non-editable in CU50 .
No Display the characteristic is not shown on the characteristic value assignment screen ,
but in Cu50 , there is button ( hidden characteristic ) , click that button to see that .
Diplay Alowed Values you will directly see the vaue in Cu50 ( with multiple options ) . Data in Blue means its
selected .

Restrictions will be covered when we will discuss DEPENDECIES .

define characteristic VC_car_audio ( Global ) so should include all values .

Now you can have 2 class one SUV , one Car .

Whatever you need from characteristic , select them in SUV Class and in CAR class . So it become local.
now attach it to class ( local )

click overwrite to delete 2 value -

create material and assign to material in classification tab .
Checkbox at Required will come from characteristic.
Checkbox ar Overwrite will come if you overwrite characteristic.

If you want to restrict that for this org , only some user can do changes . There is authorization object involved in
this .
Inherited Class if car is configurable and inside that AC is also configurable so in that ways we use inherit class
. But sap don't support with tickets on inherited class .

Grouping characteristic . -

Initialy
Now group your characterstics . Create groups accessories and electricals .

2nd Group -
Click Descriptions -

and remove 2.

We enter numbers so that tab show up in ascending order . Just to show which tab should come first and then
next .
So suppose I have 4 characteristic - and I divide into 2 each - then General tab will go off which was there
earlier .

Suppose I have 5 characterstic in general tab and I create 2 groups for 2 characterstic each , now I still have 1
characterstic left so it will still show in general tab if you dont want this 1 characterstic to show up , the assign
it to some group and make it hidden

Table CABN ( Characteristics ) , CAWN ( Values ) , CAWNT ( Test ).

ifyou create through Push button then it will appear in General Tab .

Dependencies -

suppose car audio is hidden in class , a soon as you enter seat THEN ENABLE CAR AUDIO . Assign this to
audio characteristic in class .

Precondition

if tyre is CEAT , dont allow user to enter seats . So its a pre condition for SEAT .
Assign it in class .
Now test in cu50 .
Enter tyres = CEAT . Seat will go offf .
