Download Manager

This presentation is not fixed. I have some ideas but if you have better ideas or suggestions
of course Ill take care carefully !

GENERAL
The component will be updated when it needs and compatible with future CMS development.

The component has to be fully integrated, run fast, secure and responsive (PC/Tablet/
Smartphones). This means if Theme is changed, the component is adapted automatically to the
new website.

This component is a download manager for Musical scores.

The Tree can be presented as :

Main category => Instruments (Piano, Flte, Organ, Cello ) Displayed in MENU
Composers => List of Composers when we click on the Instrument
Subcategories This can be Opus or a work bringing together several titles
Concertos, Symphonies , etc
Files put in the different subcategories

NOTE : We can have same Composers in different Instruments. In that case, the Composers have
their own files by instruments.
eg : Jean Sebastien BACH : I have this composer in Organ Menu with all organ files displayed.
If i create the same Composer in Cello, ill have the Cello music in Cello Menu and not Organ
and Cello mixed.

When we import files, to attach them to the Composers, id like in FTP organized by

- Instrument
- Composer
- Subcategories
- Files

ADMIN PAGE
We need the best experience, intuitive.
We propose a left frame showing instrumentation (created before).

By Main category (instrumentation), Composers have to be accessible.

By creating the Composer page, we can :

put the Family name and Name
put the picture displayed in Principal grid (when we click on the instrumentation in the Menu), and
displayed in the Composer Page.
put the birth and death dates
write the biography (with links read more possible)
assign the composer to an Instrument

NOTE : If we have same composer in different intrumentation, we can Copy the Composer and
assign another Instrument to him.

When we are on Composers page, we have access to all the informations create before (name,
dates, biography etc

We can create the subcategories.

Importing files by multi upload, we can class in the subcategories, order and rearrange them (best :
automatically)
If possible, the files are by default classed by Alphabetical or Numerical order

We can manage Versions. The files might have some corrections to make. So, we can delete them
and replace them.

When we delete a file, it is deleted from server. Then we can import new version.
The download counter is reinitialized.

USER PAGE
MAIN CATEGORIES (Instrumentation : Organ, Trumpet, Flte, Cello ) are displayed in MENU.
Each CATEGORY shows a grid with composers picture inside frames when we click on it. Under
each picture, the name and family name (this one in capitals) and under, the birth and death dates.

The frames have the same ratio and the pictures are automatically adapted. The composers are
shown by alphabetical order (by family name).

The example is shown with 5 miniatures in a row with informations in the frame, but it is just an
example. The best user experience is required.

Composers page
When we click on the frame (pictures), we go on the Composers page.
A breadcrumb is welcome if possible but this is not an obligation.

The page is displayed by the picture of the composer at left, and right the name and dates (birth-
death).

Under, some lines of text for the composers biography.

Under, the subcategories in which are put the files.

Subcategories are here to put the files in a case.

For example subcategory Concertos or Symphonies or any title categorizing a number of
files.

- Title and subtitle of the file.

- Weight of the file, in Ko or Mo, automatically fill when the file is imported.
- Number of downloads, to know how many times the file is downloaded.

(This download counter has to work on PC, tablette or phone)

Forgotten in this capture :

- Date updated : mixed date added/updated. When we update the file, automatically this date
change with a new icon (if possible) displayed during 5-10 days (better idea ?)
- Version : version of the file. Number of version is manually put.

- The magnifying glass displays a preview of the file in the navigator. IT NOT ALLOWS THE
DOWNLOADING (like the website imslp.org)
This option is not displayed on Phones.

- The button PDF (or other) allows the download of the file. By clicking on this button, the file is
downloaded AND the download counter increments 1 more (even in PC/Tablet/Phones..
