Adjacent to the shelters kitchen, I built a garden made from
concrete block that consisted of three garden beds that were
each 4x20 feet. I planted vegetables and herbs in the beds and I
also planted three fruit treesplum, lemon, and orange in the
nearby planters. Additionally, I installed a sprinkler system and a
hose for the garden and left a maintenance manual for the staff
to keep the garden sustainable.
