Describe the instructional activities that will occur PRIOR to the SRT activity and how you will introduce
the SRT activity.
Students will do a picture sort to help the differentiate between independence and dependence. Students
will conduct their own research on writers of the DOI and share with the class. Students will have
participated in a lesson about the DOI where they completed a graphic organizer. Activity will be
introduced as a check in before the unit test to see what needs to be reviewed.

lesson and figure out what went wrong in the areas students are misunderstanding.

Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. I hope that this activity will be a good way for students
to self-assess and check in and will also help me see which areas need review.
