Performance Task: Shop Safety Poster .
Safety in an automotive shop is a huge concern for a shop manager or owner. Choose on of the 10 shop
safety areas and create a safety poster illustration the dangers and important reminders when dealing with
this area.
1) The poster must contain four clear verbal reminders or rules for the safety of the user.
2) It must have a memorable slogan, rhyme, or jingle to help the user remember the importance of safety.
3) It must also have at least three images from an external source illustrating dangers that could arise when
using the area.
4) Write a paragraph discussing the dangers and important safety reminders as a discussion for the need for
your safety poster.
5) Be prepared to present the poster to the class in an organized fashion to the class explaining the necessity
for safety in the area you have chosen.
6) Post you completed poster to Padlet and view and make constructive comments for two (2) other
