Develop the means to implement differentiated instruction and assessment for Art 10,
20, 30, 10-4 and 20-4 in a shared teaching time and space.

Rational:
As an intern teacher, I am presented with the unique opportunity to expand my
interpretation of the High School Art curriculum. In doing so, it is my goal to help
diverse members of the school community to achieve success in their art practice.
Having many levels of ability within the classroom calls for creative planning and
flexibility in assessment while maintaining challenging coursework to promote growth
and skill development.

the school and greater community.

Rational:
In facilitating students to interact and work collaboratively with others, both in the
school and the community, valuable skills are developed and refined. Empathy,
understanding, self-empowerment, confidence and teamwork are essential traits for
success. Through student directed projects and teacher-led assignments, it is my aim to
grow these positive skills with students who view art as a means of connection and
communication.
