This source documents the address that Jimmy Carter stated before the Camp
David Meeting with congress. This helped me further understand Carters stand
on the peace between Egypt and Israel and how he has a better understanding of
the situation by attending Camp David with the President of Egypt and the Prime
Minister of Israel.

This primary source is an website with the actual Camp David Accords that were
written. This aided me in my understanding of the problem and what was being
done to try to solve it.

This source showed me the process by which the prime minister of Israel and
Jimmy Carter took in order to try to start a movement of peace. They both
realized there was a problem and worked together to try to solve it. It further
explained the outline of what they wanted to accomplish by establishing peace
between the nations.

This source contains letters that were sent among President Jimmy Carter,
President of Egypt Anwar Sadat, and Israeli prime minister Menachem Begin.
These letters show the aftermath of the Camp David Accords and what actions
were took as a result.

This primary source is the day-by-day diary of Jimmy Carter which shows his
schedule while at Camp David. This pdf file gives an idea of Carters experiences
with developing the treaty and how it progressed throughout his time there.

treaty. This is another source that shows what actions were taken by the Israelis
after the treaty was made. This contributed to my understanding of how the peace
treaty actually caused change between Israel and Egypt.

ending with its effects. This explains the situation and what was agreed on in

This book gives an insight on negotiating the peace between Egypt and Israel
before Camp David. It focuses on the patterns of negative negotiating behaviors
that would derail the efforts to achieve peace between the two countries. This
helped further explain the problems the two countries had with each other and
why there was a need for US intervention to establish peace.

further negotiations for peace in the Middle East. It gives an insight on peace
negotiations after the Camp David Accords. This book along with the book that
shows peace negotiations before the Camp David Accords gives a before and after
look. It helps to show what the Camp David Accords helped and what it did.
