Purpose of this unit

This unit aims learners to develop a proposal for a work based team project, plan the project, implement the plan
and evaluate the project.

Scenario:
In order to achieve the learning outcomes and meet the standards for this unit, you will need to work as part of a team.
You will need to develop a proposal and plan for a project, implement the plan and then present the results and carry out
an evaluation.
The size and composition of the team must be negotiated with your tutor, who will take the final decision.
The basis of your project is to add benefit to the local community where the college/provider is based. Initially your team
should research potential good causes in the locality, as your project will be to raise funding to support one good cause.
Task 4
Using a range of communication skills present the results of your project. Your presentation should include:
An analysis of the data from the project
How you have applied the findings/outcomes from the project.
Task 5
Having completed the project you now need to produce a written evaluation against the stated objectives. This will
include:
An evaluation of your own performance, which should be based on personal reflection and documented
feedback from others
An evaluation of the teams performance, which should be based on reflection and documented feedback
Recommendations for improvement for future projects.

This task covers assessment criteria P4.1, P42, P4.3 and P5.1,P5.2,P5.3
