The following post was prompted by a FaceBook-friends page which shared a

post on CULTS. Within the post, was a link to a webpage resource offering a list
of CULTS... or should I rather say; a list of what THEY consider to be cults...
based upon their understanding of the Bible. What they really need, to measure
others by, is Holy Ghost-vindicated, divine revelation... this, in my opinion, they
fail to have.

Herewith my post which I hope will enlighten some souls to a few of the
foundational doctrines whereon the Christian church is built.

INITIATION OF A DISCOURSE ON THE AUTHORITY

ASSUMED BY THE WATCHMAN FELLOWSHIP TO IMPLY
THAT THEY ARE THE LORDS APPOINTED ACCUSER,
PROSECUTOR, JUDGE AND EXECUTIONER OF PEOPLE
AND FAITHS!
II TIMOTHY 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH.

Firstly the question must be asked, Upon what perfectly correct vast library of
doctrinal issues are these people adjudging others? On what authority are they basing
their criteria to determine which doctrines are correct and which are not?

If I may, (without prejudice) take up a contention for the sake of defending the Word of
God and in the process provide just cause to warn against making use of websites like
Watchman Fellowship.

Is it not reasonable to ask Watchman Fellowship to produce the sole true

Faith/doctrines where upon we Christians are obliged to base our eternal destiny; for
they have provided many hundreds of churches and peoples failings while all these
contest to be the correct and true faith... this, while all, by virtue of their existence,
deny all others to be true. Again I ask... Will Watchman Fellowship please produce the
one true faith by which they assume to be the Lords appointed Accuser, Prosecutor,
Judge and Executioner!
As an example, to contest their validity as an authority to take up such a bold stance,
shall we endeavour to scrutinise their labelling of one of the most astounding ministries
of all time, that of William Branham. There is common knowledge and indisputable
evidence that live witnessing, (and photographic evidence) vindicated the presence of
the Almighty God throughout his life, and for 18 years of ministry; in mighty
demonstration of all the gifts of the Spirit of the Lord including, miracles, (confirmed
healings by the thousands and several raisings of the dead), visions by the thousands,
prophecy in abundance none of which have ever failed, [though some heretics have
misconstrued his utterance to imply failure], discerning of the very secrets of the heart
as was demonstrate by Jesus and John the Baptist.

In addition, this humble man of God persistently invited and challenged the world of
theologians and religious heavy-weights throughout his ministry to prove his teachings
to be incorrect. His challenges were never accepted for fear of the Pillar of Fire that
accompanied this mans ministry. From here on, I shall present, unabridged text copies
from magnetic tape of quotes from his sermons. I will also produce scriptural text to
validate his teachings that the Watchman Fellowship have erroneously presented as
false teachings; opening themselves to conspiring to determine the works of the Holy
Ghost in this last church age to be the work of the devil... a most dangerous,
blasphemous suggestion!

256 I challenge anyone to bring me one piece of Scripture, or one piece of history,
where anybody was ever baptized any other way than in the Name of "Jesus Christ,"
until the Roman Catholic church. Do that! Remember, this tape goes around the world.
I've held congregations of ministers, with hundreds of them, and bishops and
everything, say(ing), "Stand to your feet, or come here with your Bible, or hold your
peace forever!" They hold their peace till they get around behind you, then they start
talking about you; not having the very audacity to stand to your face, or common
decency to stand and tell you to your face. They're afraid to do it. They know it's wrong.
But that's what that cankerworm started eating, see, eating away that real Thing.

Following is the insert of William Branham as a cult leader taken from the website of

received healing and prophetic powers from an angel. Denied the Trinity, taught the
serpent seed doctrine, and rejected other Pentecostal and traditional Christian churches.

Let me be the first to say that Satan has had great victory among the various
independent assemblies who recognised William Branham as fulfilling several
scriptural prophecies including Malachi 4:5-6, Matthew 17:10-11, Mark 9:11-12, Luke
17:30, Revelations 3:14-22 and 10:17.
Regarding Matthew 17:10-11 and, Mark 9:11-12 Satan has ensured that a simple
misinterpretation within these two prophecies would deceive most unto disbelief of the
prophecy being fulfilled in these last days for the restoration of the original faith that
was all but decimated by the Roman Catholic Church; which took the world into the
Dark ages.

It is commonly contended that these prophecies pointed to John the Baptist by virtue of
Jesus adding that John did come in the spirit and power of Elias already.

That is totally taken out of context with what Jesus was saying. For starters, John didnt
restore anything! And John was already dead when this question was put to Jesus. And
finally, when the elders of the denominations of that day sent Jews and Levites to John
to ask if he was come to fulfil Malachi 4:5 and 6... he replied with a resounding NO!...
that he wasnt that prophet.

JOHN 1:19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from
Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?

JOHN 1:20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

JOHN 1:21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art
thou that prophet? AND HE ANSWERED, NO.

JOHN 1:25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, [if thou
BE NOT that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet]?

Notice also that John was prophesied to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children.
The fathers being the Patriarchal fathers of Judaism to the new gospel presented by the
disciples.

LUKE 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the
hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to
make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

That prophecy refers to Malachi 4:6...

MALACHI 4:6 AND HE SHALL TURN THE HEART OF THE FATHERS TO THE
CHILDREN, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the
earth with a curse.

Did you notice that John was prophesied to fulfil only the first part of this dual
prophecy? The rest would be fulfilled just before the great, (the day that the Lord
comes to fetch His Bride) and dreadful day of the Lord which is one and the same day...
that being the very day that grace is taken from the foolish Christian virgins who
missed the rapture and is returned to the Jews... it is the day that the 3 years ministry
of Christ that was cut short is restored to the Jews; which is the very same day that
ushers in the onset of the ministry of Lucifer in the office of the Great Red Dragon
leading eventually to the 3 years Tribulation which ends with the Battle of
Armageddon and the return of the Lord with His Bride to purge the Earth with fire that
shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble:
and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave
them neither root nor branch.

What did William Branham believe? What is it that led the Watchman Fellowship to
list William Branham as the leader of a cult?

ON THE TOPIC OF HIM TEACHING A ONENESS DOGMA!

I have found that He often referred to these two scriptures...

JOHN 4:24 God is A Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and
in truth.

EPHESIANS 4:5 & 6 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all,
who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

I TIMOTHY 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the
man Christ Jesus;

The revelation hereof is that as written in John 1 where we find that God is the Spirit
wherein all things that were created were created IN God... I.E. in that eternal Spirit
Christians call the Father. That Spirit created for Himself a soul in the image of a
man in preparation for the indwelling of Jesus so that He would eventually have an
immortal corporal body with which He could enjoy eternity with a many-membered
Bride who would enjoy eternity as His Queen of heaven in immortalised corporal
Bodies. That does not equate to the pagan concept of three Gods. It equates to one
Creator who we worship as God; who is a spirit wherein all creation exists, including
Jesus, who is the fullness of the Godhead and all of His creation. We refer to the Creator
as He simply because He perceived Himself, (in the spiritual realm) in the image of a
man; and created a corporal body, Jesus; through which He, I.E. His soul would rule
for evermore.

This may explain it better... while confirming who Jesus Father was.

MATTHEW 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord
appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto
thee Mary thy wife: for that WHICH IS CONCEIVED IN HER IS OF THE HOLY
GHOST.

LUKE 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour
with God.

LUKE 1:31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and
shalt call his name JESUS.

LUKE 1:34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a
man?
LUKE 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, THE HOLY GHOST shall
come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also
that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

If there are three Gods, how can the Father be the father of Jesus when the Bible
teaches that the Holy Spirit is the Father. THESE ARE THE SAME ENTITY THE
CREATIVE SPIRIT WE CALL GOD... NOT TWO PERSONS!

Note that this event took place prior to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon man four
years later. This is the Holy Soul/Spirit in the form of a man, (we believe was
embellished in an amber, spiritual fire such that man would eventually be able to
perceive Its presence) that God had created and He called It, THE WORD...
according to John 1:1-4 and 9-10. It is the same Being that led the children of Israel
back to the Promised Land, etc.

The fact that the scripture say... in I JOHN 5:7 For there are THREE THAT BEAR
RECORD IN HEAVEN, THE FATHER, THE WORD, AND THE HOLY GHOST:
AND THESE THREE ARE ONE... does not imply that there are three persons in
heaven. It refers to three offices through which God has manifest himself to all
creation from the beginning. Consider it somewhat, as the titles on office doors
through which God operates at different times through different ages.

The pagan concept of many gods, as in a trinity of persons, is a dogma, created by the
Roman Catholic Church... the same perverse cult that persecuted the founding
Christians into near extinction because they refused to accept the dogmas that were
instigated at the Council of Nicea in 325. The entire existence of the Roman Catholic
Church, as a Christian entity, is a sham and a hoax; forced upon humanity by this
pseudo-Christian entity which through the ages mutilated the original faith.

The very Watchman Fellowship which accuses William Branham to be a Cultist,

based upon the their erroneous impression that he was a Oneness believer have
themselves to defend their association to the doctrines of the Roman Catholic cult. One
being the Trinity and also their rejection of the Scriptural baptism in the name of
Jesus Christ, see Acts 2:38-39 which fulfils Matthew 28:19. The fact is that William
Branham regularly presented examples, in the Book of Acts, of candidates being
baptised, by submersion in water, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ; whereas, the
Watchman Fellowship cannot present a single scriptural event where anyone,
including infants, was ever baptised by sprinkling in the name, (singular) of the
Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost... which doesnt even make grammatical
sense being that these are three titles not names.

They obviously do not possess any substantial revelation regarding the Godhead.

The Bible admonishes man in the following fashion...

MATTHEW 4:4 ...... It is written, MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE,
BUT BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.
REVELATION 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth
say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water
of life freely.

REVELATION 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the
prophecy of this book, IF ANY MAN SHALL ADD UNTO THESE THINGS, GOD
SHALL ADD UNTO HIM THE PLAGUES THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK:

REVELATION 22:19 AND IF ANY MAN SHALL TAKE AWAY FROM THE
WORDS OF THE BOOK OF THIS PROPHECY, GOD SHALL TAKE AWAY HIS
PART OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE, AND OUT OF THE HOLY CITY, AND FROM
THE THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK.

GALATIANS 1:8 BUT THOUGH WE, OR AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN,

PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL UNTO YOU THAN THAT WHICH WE HAVE
PREACHED UNTO YOU, LET HIM BE ACCURSED.

GALATIANS 1:9 As we said before, SO SAY I NOW AGAIN, IF ANY MAN

PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL UNTO YOU THAN THAT YE HAVE RECEIVED,
LET HIM BE ACCURSED.

II PETER 1:20 Knowing this first, THAT NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS

OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION.

II PETER 1:21 FOR THE PROPHECY CAME NOT IN OLD TIME BY THE WILL
OF MAN: BUT HOLY MEN OF GOD SPAKE AS THEY WERE MOVED BY
THE HOLY GHOST.

These admonitions the prophet William Branham adhered to stringently and if the
Watchman Fellowship cannot adhere to this, they should subject themselves to
extensive introspection instead of pointing fingers at others.

Roman Catholics at the instigation of the Popes to stamp out the heretics who would

THE TRUE FACE OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC INQUISITION

Since history books have been largely rewritten, few people know specific details of
this murderous campaign that lasted over 1,200 years, killing 75 million people. But,

What is not only outrageous, is the fact that Watchman Fellowship refrain from the
evil Roman institution... and yet they brazenly condemn a vindicated prophet of God
based upon the fact that their putrid revelation on scripture; yet they have nothing of
substance to say condemning this wicked, and now Luciferian cult.

Our precious Saviour never ordered anyone to be slaughtered for any reason, especially
for hardness of heart against His message, nor for disagreeing with Him on spiritual
matters. But -- and this is a very big 'but' -- pagans regularly move to slaughter their
opponents, usually with great relish and hardness of heart. In such slaughters, murder is
not enough; rather, before the victim dies, pagans absolutely relish inflicting maximum
pain upon their victims.
As the Inquisition rolled along, another demonic spirit swept through the Church and
the people carrying out the Inquisition. This spirit was a spirit of absolute, diabolical
hatred of mankind, accompanied by a corresponding love of torture. If you look closely,
you can see some wealthy people sitting on the other side of the plate glass window,
looking at this poor man being tortured, as if they were watching an opera! Women as
well as men were watching this poor man slowly die as he rotated on this very sharp
point.
The man is suspended with these many ropes so he can be rotated on that exceedingly
sharp point sticking into his anus. The pain was incalculable and quickly unbearable.
We have other pictures of women being suspended on this same type of sharp point,
which is sticking into her female organ!
In the Inquisition, pain inflicted on sexual organs was very prevalent, another clear sign
of the sexual obsession brought on by the perversions of celibacy. This type of sexual
perversion has occurred in every Mysteries Religions in all of history: the Babylonian
Satanic Mysteries, Egyptian Mysteries, the Greek Mysteries, and the Mysteries of
Imperial Rome. Celibate Catholic priests were just the latest to feel the scourge of
sexual perversion brought on by celibacy.
This is not a church of God! It never was... it was a sham and a hoax, as stated earlier,
an instrument to regain their floundering grip of universal power. That is it.

Knowing as we do, that God embellishes Himself in the amber light we call the Logos
as we have witnessed Moses and other prophets encountering, so we also witness the
same when Saul/Paul was on the road to Damascus, as recorded in Acts 9:3-5 being
struck down by a bright light from heaven, even blinding him; he heard a voice
speaking out of the light saying...

Saul, Saul, Why persecutest thou me?

Saul replied saying, Who art thou, LORD?

And the Lord said, I AM JESUS whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick
against the pricks.

Now Saul being a revered, and devout Pharisee who knew the God/Lord of Moses and
had vehemently rejected Jesus as being the Messiah, (God with man/the anointed King
of Israel/He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him
not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him,
to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his
name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of
man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, [and we beheld
his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,] full of grace and truth. John
1:10-14) quickly realised his error and was confronted by correction; that Jesus was the
fullness of the manifestation of the eternal God, the Word now in His immortal,
corporal body, which was perceived in Gods minds eye before the foundations of the
world. See John 1:1-3

JOHN 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, (the eternal
spirit... not an old man with a long white beard), AND THE WORD WAS GOD.

JOHN 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.

JOHN 1:3 ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; AND WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT
ANY THING MADE THAT WAS MADE.

ON THE BAPTISM IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

MATTHEW 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his
disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
MATTHEW 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias;
and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

MATTHEW 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

MATTHEW 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son
of the living God.

MATTHEW 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon
Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not REVEALED it unto thee, but my Father
which is in heaven.

MATTHEW 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and UPON THIS
ROCK, ([[foundation] of God-sent revelation) I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH; and the
gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

MATTHEW 16:19 And I WILL GIVE UNTO THEE THE KEYS OF THE
KINGDOM OF HEAVEN: AND WHATSOEVER THOU SHALT BIND ON EARTH
SHALL BE BOUND IN HEAVEN: AND WHATSOEVER THOU SHALT LOOSE
ON EARTH SHALL BE LOOSED IN HEAVEN.

So now! What was Peters revelation on the commission that Jesus left in Matthew
28:19-20? How then did Peter, the other disciples and Paul, the founder of the
Christian faith baptise?

Now restrain yourself to abide only by straight forward English grammar applying the
correct meaning to every word. Jesus said in...

MATTHEW 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

MATTHEW 28:20 TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS

WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU: and, lo, I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen.

He didnt say sprinkle babies!

Definition of the Greek word onoma in English is the word NAME. Had Jesus
intended for Christians to be baptised in the TITLES such as, Father, Son and
Holy Ghost, He surely would have not used the word NAME which, firstly is used
here in the singular tense which immediately eliminates plural or multiple names or
titles for that matter, and secondly, NAME directly implies to the one and only
NAME whereby man can be saved... JESUS!

ACTS 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other NAME
under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Now lets see if William Branham taught the same doctrine as Peter... and for that
matter Paul too.

183 You go to Matthew 28:19, "Father, Son, and Holy Ghost," where Matthew said,
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son,
Holy Ghost"? And anybody that thinks that "Father, Son, Holy Ghost" is a name, it
shows there's something wrong with their education. (Now, for a seventh-grade student
to say that to bishops that's listening to This.) Father is not a name, Son is no name, and
Holy Ghost is no name. They're titles that goes to the Name (of Father, Son, and Holy
Ghost), which is Jesus Christ.

Remember, that's not in anger, that's said in love and godly respects, with love and
consideration for the full Body of Christ to where I'm invited by my Trinitarian brethren
(and all over the world) to come and preach in their congregation. But I never mention
it when I'm among you. I want to be... Unless you ask me yourself, and I'll go over to
the parish with you and talk with you about it. But before your congregation, it would
stir them up. It's your place to get the Revelation and go teach your flock, you're the
shepherd of the flock. I'm speaking to ministers. If you don't understand, come, let's sit
and reason together. The Bible said, "Prove all things, and hold fast to that what's
good."

265 But let me just show you something. If Matthew 28:19 said, "Go ye therefore,
teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and the
Holy Ghost," and they turned around, and every person that was ever baptized was
baptized contrary to that, baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, for even all through the
Bible age and for three hundred years after the Bible age, to the Nicaea Council. Then
they adopted dogmas instead. What's the difference, if it isn't revealed?

See ACTS 2:38, ACTS 8:12-17, ACTS 8:26-40 ACTS 10:48, ACTS 19:3-6

ON THE DOCTRINE OF THE SERPENT SEED.

Here are a few questions which require answers...

What fruit did Adam and Eve eat apple, pear, apricot? What was in the fruit that made
their eyes open to realise that they were naked? Why did God curse Eve in child
bearing?

Why did God curse the serpent to a point that there would be no trace of his original
form; a form where he was an upright standing, beautiful creature who could talk and
reason with Adam and Eve; and only after his adulterous act with Eve was he cursed to
slither on his belly as a serpent; and eat the dust of the field all the days of his life? Do
you see how silly, yet beguiling Satan is in having unenlightened artists paint silly
pictures depicting a snake hanging from a tree trying to entice Eve to eat an apple? And
why did God place enmity between thy, (the serpent) seed and the seed of the woman?
The serpents seed was Cain; while the Seed of the woman, (and we all know that a
woman does not have a seed, but an egg) refers to the Gene-seed of God conceived by
the Holy Ghost... and they were told to name Him Jesus.

Now let us investigate the scriptures further... to determine whether Cain, (the first born
child to Eve) was of the seed of Adam, which would make him heir to Adam.

I JOHN 3:12 Not as Cain, WHO WAS OF THAT WICKED ONE, and slew his
brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his
brother's righteous.

Is John implying that Adam was the wicked one? Surely not! Adam wasnt deceived
and nor was he found to be in transgression.

I TIMOTHY 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

I TIMOTHY 2:12 BUT I SUFFER NOT A WOMAN TO TEACH, NOR TO USURP

AUTHORITY OVER THE MAN, BUT TO BE IN SILENCE.

I TIMOTHY 2:13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

I TIMOTHY 2:14 AND ADAM WAS NOT DECEIVED, but THE WOMAN BEING
DECEIVED WAS IN THE TRANSGRESSION.

I TIMOTHY 2:15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, IF THEY

CONTINUE IN FAITH AND CHARITY AND HOLINESS WITH SOBRIETY.

JUDE 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily
after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Now lets look at the genealogy, the recorded lineage of Cain. For if he is a child of
Adam, and the first-born, the lineage should pass through him.

From Genesis 4:16 we see Cains lineage!

In Genesis we see the lineage of Adam! GENESIS 5:3-6 And Adam lived an hundred
and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his
name Seth: And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred
years: and he begat sons and daughters: And all the days that Adam lived were nine
hundred and thirty years: and he died. And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and
begat Enos:...

No mention of Able, (who didnt have children) and no mention of Cain!

Again we find a lineage of Adam in I CHRONICLES 1:1 Adam, Sheth, Enosh... Again
no mention of Cain.

In order to conclude this enquiry, we ought to confirm whether the New Testament also
confirm this status. We have already noted that the Apostle John had known that Cain
was from the evil one but lets look at the lineage as presented in the book of Luke
Chapter 3 verse 38...
LUKE 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son
of Adam, which was the son of God.

Again there is no mention of Cain... the seed of the serpent.

Until the professing Christian can accept, and have revelation of the Word of God
regarding these three topics, this Bible, (upon which they base their faith for
redemption) will remain a dead letter full of confusion.

Now I present to you a couple of quotations which ought to set the record straight
regarding the teachings of William Branham regarding these subjects; and how the
entire known religious world would not accept his challenge to dispute the Word of God
as was revealed to him. And, in doing this, expose the error of presenting the website of
Watchman Fellowship as a validated source of information... for they too believe the
pagan Roman Catholic dogma that there are three Gods in heaven, baptism in titles
and that Eve ate an apple.

321 You know, in Chicago, when we stood before them, about three hundred and fifty
preachers. You women here from Chicago, you were there, heard about it.

322 And the Lord told me, three nights before, said, "They're going to set a trap for
you." Said, "Stand at the window here and I'll show you." Said, "Mr. Carlson and--and
Tommy Hicks will meet you tomorrow morning, want to go to breakfast. And you tell
Tommy to stay. But," said, "here is the way it'll look. Tell them that they're not going to
have that meeting in the place they're thinking about. They're going to be in another
place." Said, "Don't you fear. I'll be with you." That's good enough for me.

323 The next morning, Mr. Carlson, president of the Full Gospel Business Men,
come, said... called me up, said, "Brother Branham, I want to go to breakfast with you."

324 I said, "All right." (I said, "Watch Tommy Hicks be there, too.")

325 Went down at Town And Country, and he said, "Well, Brother Branham," he said,
"oh, this is one..."

I said, "Tommy, would you do me a favor?"

"Sure, Brother Branham."

I said, "Wonder if you would speak for me?"

He said, "Oh, I--I couldn't do that."

326 I said, "Why? I'm just a seventh-grade student, and I--I'll say... I'd say empire
instead of umpire. See? I don't know how to speak before there. And there is going to be
the Ministerial Association of Greater Chicago. How am I going to speak before them,
with my seventh-grade education, Tommy? You're a Doctor of Divinity." I said, "You'd
know how to talk. I don't."
He said, "Brother Branham, I couldn't do that."

327 I said, "Why? I've done you a many favor." And I just put it real straight.

328 And Brother Carlson said, "Oh, Brother Branham, he couldn't do that."

I said, "Why?"

He said, "Well, he, the--the--the--the..."

329 I said, "You know why? You know why, but you don't want to tell me. They got a
trap set for me."

330 I said, "Brother Carlson, you've got that hotel room, haven't you, where we had
the other banquet?"

"Yes."

I said, "You're not going to get it."

331 He said, "Well, Brother Branham, I done got the deposit on it."

332 I said, "I don't care what you got. It's not going to be there. That's a green-colored
room. We're going to be in a brown-colored room. I'm going to be back in the corner.
Dr. Mead will sit to the right. That colored man and his wife will sit here, and so-and-
so. There'll be a Buddha priest sitting to my extreme right," and how they'll be dressed.

333 And I said, "You know what it is, Tommy. You're... The Greater Chicago
Ministerial Association is going to challenge me on 'the baptism in the Name of Jesus
Christ.' The Greater Chicago Ministerial Association is going to challenge me on 'the
evidence of the Holy Ghost,' speaking in tongues. They're going to challenge me on 'the
serpent's seed,' and on the preaching of 'grace.'"

334 Tommy looked over, and, "Mercy! Goodness!" Said, "I don't think I'll even go."

I said, "Yeah, you come on."

335 And the next day, the man who had took the deposit, give him back the deposit,
and said, "We got an orchestra. We had it booked up, and we forgot it and had lost that
thing. And we had to give it to a orchestra, and you can't have it." And we went out to
Town And Country.

336 Walked in, that morning, and there they all stood. When I set down behind the
desk back there, and waiting, after they had breakfast, I looked around at them like that.
We had breakfast in a room. Come out, set down there, and there was the Greater
Ministerial Association of Chicago. I looked around to them. Each one introduced
themselves as Doctor Ph.D., L.L., Q.U.S.T., and all them kind of things like that. I just
sit and listened at them, till they got through. And Brother--Brother Carlson stood up.
He said, "Gentlemen..."
337 And all of you know Hank Carlson. And, there, ask him. Well, you got it on tape
right here. If you want to buy the tape, it's here. The boys has got it.

338 He said, "Gentlemen," he said, "I introduce to you, next, Brother Branham." He
said, "You all might disagree with him, on his Doctrine, but let me tell you something.
Three days ago, we set in a place, and if that man didn't tell me everything that's
happened this morning, I'm not standing here. He told me that you all were fixing to
question him on his Doctrine. And he told me that I'd have to cancel out that other
place, and be here. And told me exactly where Dr. Mead and these people would be
sitting, just exactly, and here they are." He said, "You might have disagreed with him,
but, I'll say one thing, he's fearless with what he thinks about."

He said, "Now, Brother Branham, the floor is yours."

339 I said, "Before we start..." I read what I did this morning, "'I was not disobedient to
the Heavenly vision.'" I said, "Now let's settle this. Now, you all speak of being Doctors
of Divinity; and I stand here by myself." I said, "If that's so, you want to question me,
on the baptism in Jesus' Name. We'll start with that first. I want one of you men to bring
your Bible and stand here by my side, on anything that I've taught." I said, "Stand here
by my side, and, with the Word of God, disprove It." I waited. Nobody said nothing. I
said, "I'm asking for some of you men to come stand by my side." Said, "What's the
matter with you? Then, stay off my back, if you're afraid to stand here by me."

340 It's not me they're afraid of; it's that Angel of the Almighty God. That, they know,
if He could foretell me to come... They even brighter than I thought they were. They
knowed better than to stand there. Uh-huh. You know, you've been in times, in them
times, too. But they didn't do it. What's the matter, if it's so great, and they know it's so
truthful?

341 I've put it on tape, and anywhere else; I'm ready to talk it over, in a Christian way,
with any brother. I won't argue with nobody; but I want you come, disprove any of It,
by the Word. Not by your textbook, now; not what Dr. So-and-so, or Saint So-and-so
said. I want to know what God said. That's the basis. I want to know what That is. They
don't do it.

81 They're afraid to challenge that Word anywhere. They keep awful quiet about It,
but yet they fuss about it.

82 Chicago, here not long ago, when the Lord gave me a vision. I had three hundred
ministers down there. I said, "Now I know what you... About serpent's seed, and so
forth," I said, "one of you take your Bible and come stand by my side and disprove it."
The quietest bunch you ever heard. I said, "Then keep off of my back." See, it's out of
their school of thinking.

83 Yet, they say, "Brother Branham is a prophet when he is anointed, but when the
anointing is off of him, oh, I don't know." What a... If that isn't a mark of a--a--a--a
mixed-up theologian! The very...
84 The word prophet means "a Divine revelator of the Word." The Word of the Lord
come to the prophets. That's how Jesus was identified. And they said after the
resurrection, they said, "We know He was a prophet of God, see, no man could do these
things 'less God be with him," then wouldn't accept His message. They wouldn't accept
John, and he was a prophet. Wouldn't accept Elijah, none of the rest of them, and they
had the Divine revelation.
