How to Print Only One Logo on a Long Receipt Printed by the TSP100
Introduction
This application note shows how to ensure only one logo triggered by the driver is printed on a long receipt by adjusting
form size.

Above: The Star Pizzas logo and Free Ice Cream coupon are both triggered by assigning their location of print in the driver.
1. Click the Start button and navigate All Programs > StarMicronics > Star TSP100 > Configuration Utility
2. Assign graphics loaded in the Image List to the top or bottom of the receipt, or behind text. For detailed instructions on

2. Windows 7/Vista: Click the Start button and navigate Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Windows XP: Click the Start button and navigate: Settings > Printers and Faxes
3. Windows 7/Vista: Click on the printer driver once. This makes the top menu bar appear. Click Print server properties.
Windows XP: Click File in the top menu bar and select Server Properties.
4. In the Forms tab, scroll down the list and highlight 72mm x Receipt.
6. Enter a new form name, such as New Long Form as used above.
7. Enter in a value larger than the length of the longest receipt being printed in the Height field. If the receipt is 130 inches
in length at its tallest, enter 140 inches or more.
9. Back in Devices and Printers or Printers and Faxes, click the printer and select Printer properties.
14. Click the Advanced button in the lower right hand corner.
15. Set Paper Size to the new form and click OK.
17. Click the General tab and then the Preferences button.
18. Click the Advanced button in the lower right hand corner.
19. Set Paper Size to the new form and click OK.
Congratulations! You have successfully made the appropriate settings to ensure a logo triggered through the driver is
printed only once on a long receipt.
