Strengths of the lesson:
Good start with the comparison with the two stories. However, I have a concerns on
the stories.
Why you showed only one story
You just ask them about the transformation types without any clues. Why? And why
you asked the sts to give you examples of both types?
Very good formal Arabic speaking.
-nice way to help the students remember the life cycle stages of the butterfly..
Great that you follow up the video and the dissection with a worksheet.
You are a good skilled teacher, you need to and more fun and energy to the lesson.

Areas for development:


Pay attention to the information organization of the lesson plan.
Before you show any video, give instruction on what the student have to do or focus on.
In the butterfly video stop the video then ask or discus. dont take group answers, stop
ask one student.

I chose these stories because of what my MST advised me to do. She thought

that will be an effective way to get students engaged in my class. I showed one

story because my MST thought it is impropriate to show it to the students

because it has a scene that is bad for our culture. I used the science lesson plan

but it looks unsuitable and hard to follow so I will use the old lesson plan that I

used to do because its so organized. Besides, I will ask students individually

so I wont get the class be messed up.
