Objective:
I wish to obtain a teaching position at an elementary school.
Profile:
I am a lively, happy, and kind professional who is an absolute perfectionist in everything I do. I
am incredibly excited to teach children and have dedicated myself to developing young minds so
that we may have a better future. I am especially interested in Early Childhood Education where
I would teach children ages 3-7.

Graduated in the top 10 of my class with honors

Anticipated graduation: December, 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education
Teaching Related Experience:
Dance Camp Counselor, Limestone College
Taught child ages 3-5 years a 3-minute-long dance in order to promote health, team work,
and a future in dance.
Babysitter, Grovetown, GA
Earned money throughout high school by babysitting neighborhood kids aged 6 months
10 years.
Nanny, Gaffney, SC
Took care of two disabled girls ages 6 and 10 as a live-in nanny from 2013-2014 to raise
money for college expenses and to buy my first car. Both girls had autism, the younger
girls case was severe, the older girls case was mild (Aspergers). It was a very
challenging experience, but rewarding watching them learn basic language and math
skills and become semi self-sufficient throughout my time with them.
Limestone College Tutor, Gaffney High School, Grassy Pond Elementary, YMCA
Tutored college students, high school students, elementary students, and children in the
After School YMCA program.
Interactive Field Experience:
During my 20 hours of field experience in a 5k classroom at Grassy Pond Elementary
school, I learned along with the students as I observed and contributed to the class.
Helped students develop understanding of what they were tasked with.
Developed student's dexterity in hand writing and illustrations.
Reflected actively on my decisions as a role model.
Exhibited professional attire, attitude, and attentiveness in the classroom.
Volunteer Experience:
Participated in the "Miracle Mile" in support of my friend Megan who lost part of her leg
to cancer. (2013)
Raised money for UNICEF every October-December. (2009-2012)
Packaged rice meals for the "Stop Hunger Now" program endorsed by Limestone
College. (2014-2017)
Volunteered to read stories to disabled children at Grovetown Primary School every
"Whimsical Wednesday". (2013)

Special Skills and Interests:
I am very friendly, open-minded, and always improving on myself through reflection and self-
regulation. As an employee, I go above and beyond the call of duty in order to make myself
invaluable to my team members and the clients I interact with. As a perfectionist and an extreme
people pleaser, I work toward maintaining a middle ground between making everyone around me
happy and keeping myself grounded and level-headed. My hobbies are all stress-management
related so I can be efficient, maximizing my physical and mental health. Hobbies include:
exercising, knitting, and athletic dance. My quest in life is to help others, and it's my personal
philosophy that in order to help others effectively, I must first make sure I am happy and well.
