Please Clarify my Doubts

1. K values available in perrys chemical engineers habd book 8th edition for fittings/valves are varies with diameter?
2. Because of Gravity flow, Which flow rate I have to cosider in suction side, Discharge flow rate or Q = C d * A * flow rat

3. Actually we use cocentric reduer and eccentric reducer, but due to unavailability of proper information ,I considered Sudden
and contraction losses, So can I proceed with theese values or not?

4. Head loss in strainer is calculated from Ankur sir's Strainer pressure drop Loss excel, Pl. check it once.

5. I considered Pump efficiency as 50% for worst condition, is it correct?

Calculate Pressure Drop in Basket & Tee Strainers
Reference: http://seperationtechnology.com/calculate-pressure-drop-in-filters-and-strainers/
Inputs
Strainer Type = Tee
Flow Rate = 3139.2 GPM 713 m3/h
Viscosity = 4.09 cP
Specific Gravity = 0.899
Type of Screen =
Meshlined Std
Screen
Line Size = 8 inch

Results
Open Area = 30 % (from figure)
Pressure Drop = 0.9 psi (from graph)
1.2 (Chart 1)
Screen Correction
Factor =
P1 = 1.08 psi (Pressure Drop*Screen Correction Factor)
P2 = 0.97092 psi (P1*Specific Gravity)
0.35 (Chart 2)
Viscosity and Density
Correction factor =
P3 = 0.34 psi (P2*Viscosity and Density correction factor)
P4 = 0.63 psi (P2-P3)
Body Loss Factor = 1.0 (Chart 3)
P5 = 0.34 psi (P3*Body loss Factor)

Screen Loss Factor = 6.5 (Chart 3)

P6 = 4.10 psi (P4*Screen Loss Factor)
Total Pr Drop (P7) = 4.44 psi (P5+P6)
