Product Overview

BJ Bentonite Cement Extender

The BJ bentonite cement extender is a nonbeneficiated, cement-grade clay material,

which is incorporated to extend slurry yield and provide lower density while maintaining
acceptable compressive strengths at downhole conditions. Bentonite slurries help
control the hydrostatic pressure of long columns of slurry on weak formations. This Applications
cement extender can also provide fluid loss control and thixotropic properties. Extended, low-density, lead or filler
slurries for surface and/or intermediate
casing strings
