Semester Prep
The longer Im here in Berlin, the more Im
readjusting to the university schedule here
College classes are just starting in these first few
weeks of October. That has allowed for
necessary time to pray, discuss, plan, and
prepare for the semester. And, for me to take a
few weeks of German class!

Student Leader Days
Youve heard what God has been doing at the
Freie University Its also exciting that students
like this who want to worship God and reach
around Berlin, too. Whats so hard, though, is
that many of them know almost no one else on
their campus whos excited about the same
thing. For M at the Technische Universitt, A
and J at the Humboldt Universitt, M and D at
Potsdam Universitt Theyve been ready and
excited and even active in planning things and
reaching out at their universities, but its been
Thats one of the reasons for our recent Student
Leader Days a few of these leaders joined us
on two campuses, and together we prayed for
those universities, handed out flyers, and talked
about God and faith with new students there.
Our team also led those student leaders in
discussing their thoughts and ideas for this
coming semester. Im glad that theyre giving
input to help shape our movement, and Im
thankful that theyre willing to push forward,
even though it can feel lonely.
I would love your prayers for these courageous
believers, that they wouldnt be discouraged,
and that God would bring many other believers
alongside them to grow in faith together and
make the name of Jesus known on their
universities!

On our way back from a German staff conference.
When we were there, we saw clearly that not only is
our team currently half the size it was last year, but
other teams in Germany are smaller, too. To echo
one of my teammates observations Its not okay
with me that theres such a small number of staff
for all the students in Germany. Please pray for
more laborers here!
