PEER REVIEW

Summary:

The literature review is about the constraints of Non-Newtonian fluids, which are shear
thickening and shear thinning. Shear thickening fluids increase their viscosity as the shear force
applied to them increases, which act more like a solid than a liquid, as they get thicker. Shear
thinning fluids decrease their viscosity as the shear force applied to them increases. The viscosity
of a non-Newtonian fluid equation is present in order to determine if a fluid is shear thinning or
shear thickening. Colloidal suspensions often have the shear thickening property, in which
colloids form hydroclusters that resist separation applied by force, and the smaller colloids are
more effective in creating a shear thickening fluid. There has been none known shear thickening
fluid model to examine its complete behavior.

Major Points:

- The section titles look good as they are direct and specific.
- Therere a lot of section information missing.
- For the shear thickening fluid, there are no models to test its complete behavior, so in the
articles you have researched for the literature review, did you find if theres one? Or is it
still constrained?
- So far, I found the draft informative and you can expand a lot.
- The title said Rheological Constraints of Non-Newtonian Fluids, there should be
sections stating these constraints.

Minor Points:

- Shear and viscosity, I had to look these words up in order to understand, I think you
should include these in your context memo.
- In the references, theres one source of Z. Tan and J. Zhou that didnt have a reference
number.
- For reference v) and vi), therere no references, author names, or article names.
