Describing Objects

In this unit you are learning to listen to descriptions of various objects and their locations,
and to describe them.

Exercise 1
Look at the pictures of these clothes and identify each of them. Put the number between
brackets. Check your answers with the dictionary.

Exercise 4
Listen to people talking about furniture and other things in the house. Number the pictures
based on the dialogues.

Exercise 5
Look at the pictures of different kinds of food below. Listen to the recording and find out
which food they talk about. Only four out of the six pictures will be used.

Exercise 6
Listen to the recording of different kinds of food in Exercise 5, paying attention to the
details. Listen again and match the details in column 2 with the type of food in column 1.
