Overhaul Procedure

BUTTERFLY VALVE :

Procedure to overhaul Butterfly Valve :

1. First, loose the nut and open the Gland Flange.
2. Then carefully and remove the Stem slowly.
3. Finally remove the Driven Gear.

Procedure to set up Butterfly Valve :

1. Connects the Gland Flange and Driven Gear together.

2. Insert the Stem.
3. Tighten the nut using cross method.
 SAFETY VALVE :
Procedure to open safety valve:

Lift lever
Bonnet pin
Disc
Pressure
Seat Spring screw

Cap

Hood
Body Lift
post lever
Lifter
nut

Procedure to overhaul Safety Valve :

1. Remove the lift lever pin and use screw driver to lose the screw and open the cap.
2. Take off the lift lever together with the hood.
3. Open the body post using spanner 25.
4. Then remove the pressure screw from the bonnet.
5. Slowly take out the seat.
6. Last, take out the disc with spring

Procedure to set up Safety Valve :

1. C Put the spring back into the body.

2. Replace back the disc and seat.
3. Tighten back the body part.
4. Put back the pressure screw and tighten it to the bonnet.
5. Put the lift lever together with the hood.
6. Put back the lift lever pin.
 Procedure to open gate valve:
GATE VALVE :

Bonnet Gland Hand wheel

O ring

Wedge Gland
Seat shaped follower Stem
ring Body gate

Procedure to overhaul Gate Valve :

1. Firstly loose the nut and remove the hand wheel.
2. Slowly take out the stem.
3. Open the gland follower and gland packing.
4. Then remove the bonnet.
5. After that, carefully take out the wedge shaped gate from the body.

Procedure to set up Gate Valve :

1. Set up the wedge shaped gate.

2. Set up the bonnet and body.
3. Combine gland packing and gland follower with nuts.
4. Arrange back the gate valve.
5. Tight back the nut with the cross method by references on the marking.
BALL VALVE :

Procedure to overhaul Ball Valve :

1. Loose the nut then take out the gland follower.
2. Then take out the seal stem and stem.
3. After that slowly separate the body and closure.
4. Lastly take out the ball.

Procedure to set up Ball Valve :

1. Set up the ball into the body.

2. Combined body and closure together with the nuts.
3. Set up the stem and join with gland.
4. Tight up the gate valve.
