Course Description
This course covers major topics on the Philippine Economic system, its
growth and development. It includes the foundation of economics,
demand and supply analysis, the concept of elasticity, the theory of
production and the fundamental concept of micro and macroeconomics
with the use of simple graphical and mathematical illustrations.
Likewise, the course involves topics on taxation and agrarian reform
with discussion on issues and problems related to their
implementation.
Course Description
This course includes the works of Filipino writers from pre-Spanish
times to the present using the different critical approaches in literary
analysis. The choice and treatment of reading materials in the subject
is premised on the principle that the students exposure to the entire
corpus of writing of Filipino writers from different regions will yield
insight into the history, culture and national psyche of the Filipino
people.
This course studies the life and works Jose P. Rizal and
their influence and relevance in contemporary Philippine society.
It aims to deepen and strengthen the students sense of
nationalism by making her fully realize her worth as a Filipino.
Business Statistics/Math
This course covers an overview of the basic statistical
concepts such as frequency distribution, probability, random
variables, sampling theory, and test of hypothesis. Applications of
concepts on case studies are also tackled, as well as the use of
applicable computer software.
