Activity In this activity, students will use Quizlet Flashcards
to help them prepare for the upcoming test on
matter. Students can create their own
flashcards/study sets or decide to choose from what
others students have created already. They can use
their notes and what they have learned from that
unit to create flashcards. Students can also share
the flashcards with other students or friends.
As the teacher, I will provide the students with a
study guide with the key concepts that will be on
the upcoming test to create flashcards and help
them understand the information to get prepare for
the test. I will also create flashcards/study set and

share with the students if they want to use those
instead with the material from the study guide that
will be on the test.
Technology Quizlet Flashcards
This application can be downloaded for free on the
App store or Google play store. This application is
Technology
designed to help students practice and master what
they have learned in the classroom. It also helps
with students who have struggle in memorizing the
content they need to know for the test.
In this activity, students will use Evernote to connect
with their classmates for a group project on matter
to prepare them for the upcoming test. There will
be groups of 3-4, depending on the size of the class.
They will be able to create a checklist on what to
complete for the project. Students can also use
evernote take notes in class in what they need to
know for the test and stay organized. Students will
be able to sync their progress and continue in any
device.
As the teacher, I will go over on how to use the
application in class since it is a middle school class,
and most likely students will not be familiar with it.
If the students have their own devices, I will let
them use them when demonstrating to get familiar
with it on there own, with my help.
Evernote
This application can be downloaded for free on the
App store or Google play store. This application can
be used to stay organize with taking notes, creating
to-do lists and collaborating with other students.
