Describe the instructional activities that will occur PRIOR to the SRT activity and how you will introduce
the SRT activity.
I will review with students our previous lesson about planets and explain to them that we will have a
competition. I will tell the students that they each need a device and explain to them how to participate.
Describe the purpose of the SRT activity (check all that apply):
Assess prior knowledge Anticipatory set (Create interest in a topic) To illuminate common
misconceptions Formative assessment of content knowledge (for purpose of differentiation and
mastery for ALL students) Summative assessment of content knowledge Test preparation

Mixed (Some will have correct answers, other will not.)

Immediate corrective feedback: Will you pre-select correct answers to some of all of the questions and
display correct response to the class after the SRT activity?
Yes
No
Why or why not?
Yes, because then students will remember the answers they put and can immediately receive feedbacks so
they can get clarification.
Describe what will happen AFTER the SRT activity?
We will review and I can see which question students really struggled with and we can discuss that as a
class. I will also split people into groups that got similar questions wrong so they can work on activities
together to deepen their comprehension of the subject.
How will the data be used?
I will be able to see who has a solid understanding of the content and who doesnt. I will also be able to tell
which subjects I taught well by seeing how well the class did over all. I can share with teachers my results and
compare them to other classrooms and receive or give feedback on whos class did better so I can better my
classroom.

Describe your personal learning goal for this activity.

I hope to learn what ways my students learn best by using technology in my classroom. I want my students to
get excited about learning and to want to help their peers learn as well.
