and used to illustrate and explain
phenomena and systems; and
j) current applications are used to
reinforce science concepts.
Activity In this activity, the students will use the flashcards
app to create their own flashcards to study for their
test on Earth and Space. I, the teacher will give the
students a study guide so they know exactly what to
study and to make sure the right information is
going on the flashcards. The students will then use
the flashcards to study. The students can also use
quizlet.com to create flashcards online and then
download them onto the flashcards app for phone
or tablet use. I, the teacher will walk the students
through how to use the application and how to use
quizlet.com along with the application so I know
they understand how to use it.
As the teacher, I will have each student show me
their completed flashcards so they will receive a
completion grade for the review on Earth and Space.

In this activity, the students will be grouped
together in groups of 4 or 5 students depending on
the class size. I, the teacher will then explain to the
students how to use the application and do a
practice run with them so I know they understand
how to use the application. They will then work
together throughout class to take notes and then
answer reviews questions related to the test they
are about to take, which would be on basic
chemistry terms and concepts. They will use the
Evernote application to help them collaborate with
their group and see what their group has done.
Anything the students did not finish in class having
to do with the review questions, they will take home
and finish by collaborating with their groups through
the Evernote application using their smartphone or
tablets.
As the teacher, I will then collect their review
questions the next day and give them a grade for the
review and a participation grade for using the
Evernote application correctly.
