2015 Summer Term Courses
Enrolment Procedure & Terms and Conditions.
HOW TO ENROL
IF YOU HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF SPANISH choose any of our Inicial 1 courses.
IF YOU HAVE STUDIED SPANISH BEFORE BUT NOT AT THE INSTITUTO CERVANTES IN LONDON
You will have to take a level test. We strongly recommend that you visit the Instituto Cervantes to do this in person. If this is not possible, a
telephone test can be arranged. Tests can be taken on the following days and times:
- Fridays throughout the year from 14.30 to 17.30
Please make an appointment for your 15-minute oral test, by calling the enrolment office on 0207 235 0353. Before your appointment,
please download the written level test from our website, complete it and remember to bring it with you. The fee for the level test (20) will be
deducted from your course fee when you enrol within a year of taking the test.
IF YOU ARE CONTINUING YOUR STUDIES WITH US To enrol for the next course level (i.e. Intermediate, Advanced...) you must have passed an exam for the
level you have just completed. A certificate can be issued on request. You can enrol before having the exam result to benefit from the early
enrolment discount, as you will be entitled to a full refund if you do not pass.
ENROLMENT PROCEDURE
Once your level has been established, or if you are a beginner, you can enrol either in person at our office or by phone and pay by credit or
debit card. The enrolment office is open at the following times:
* Monday to Friday: 10.00 to 18.30
* Saturday: 10.00 to 16.30
CONCESSIONS
To be eligible for a 5% loyalty discount on our Spanish Courses you must have been enrolled on a course in the last two terms. For an extra
5% discount you must book at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the course (1 week for Intensive and Crash courses).
A 10% discount also applies for all courses to full-time UK students, senior citizens (+65) and those in receipt of the Jobseekers Allowance,
subject to presentation of valid documentation at the time of enrolment.
The above 10% discount does not apply to full time students in courses to prepare for GCSE, AS or A2 levels.
Concessions do not apply to teacher training courses and 1-2-1 or Corporate private lessons.
Courses for children: There is a 5% discount for siblings in addition to the 5% loyalty discount for children enrolled on a course in the last two
terms plus an extra 5% discount if they enrol at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the course.
Students must apply for any appropriate discount at the time of enrolment. No discounts can be applied retrospectively.
Several discounts can be applied at the same time up to a maximum of 25% discount.
Payments can only be made by debit or credit card (except American Express). We regret that we cannot accept cheques.
Enrolment is automatic once payment has been received. Students will be notified in advance if a course has been cancelled. We regret that
we cannot accept payment of fees by instalments. Fees are exclusive of books.
Fees include free library membership for the length of the course and a 50% discount to use our AVE online learning material for 12 weeks
(free for students enrolled in Inicial 1 courses).
CHANGE OF COURSE Students should consider their personal commitments and circumstances before enrolling in a class, as they will need prior
approval from the Instituto to move to another class, and this can only be done one time and during the first two weeks of the course provided
that there are places available in the course they wish to move to. No changes are allowed in Intensive and Crash courses.
MISSED LESSONS In case of missed lessons students must speak to their teacher directly before or after the missed session. Teachers are not
available to be contacted outside class. Please note that the enrolment office does not provide the teachers contact details. Students do not
need to contact the enrolment office to let us know they will miss a class.
THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES ON Friday 17 & Saturday 18 July due to the official DELE examinations taking place at the Instituto Cervantes in London
and on Monday 31 August (UK bank holiday). All affected courses have been extended accordingly or reduced in price.
Payment of the enrolment fee indicates acceptance of our Terms and Conditions
