Build thorough understanding of business goals and clear identification of relevant people needs.
Translating people needs in action by setting HR processes in close co-ordination with HR CoEs &
internal clients
Act as a single point of contact for the internal clients & successfully sell HR projects to support
building a culture of excellence
Manage entire employee life cycle (hire to retire) in accordance to set guidelines & with support
from CoEs
Act as advisor to businesses in helping them manage people related matters from time to time
Act as project manager for large cross functional change management projects in the
organization
Keep HR processes in full compliance to legal & regulatory (internal, external) framework
Feedback businesses to deliver more by advising on fresh ideas gathered as a consequence of
being a people champion
Ability to approach problems from a realm of possibilities with focus on clear & time bound
actionable/results
Should have focus on building credibility & influencing without authority
Genuinely interested in people, someone who is easy to work with & wards off negativity

exceed the needs and expectations
Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure pipeline is accurate

Must possess excellent judgment to prioritize work, handle multiple projects at once, and meet

Service responsibilities which include managing daily information/candidate data tracking,
identifying potential areas of improvement, providing information to the need, resolving problems,
participating in TA meetings and maintain a high level of stakeholder management and

Reportee Grade
Assist the C&B head in designing the overall compensation package for all employees that
support Lava Internationals business and HR strategy and which is market competitive.
Perform market pricing of jobs from multiple data sources.
Use various statistical methods and techniques and make data based decisions on direct
financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensations.
Perform yearly salary range review and publishing.
Perform job evaluation and prepare job descriptions.
Maintain data bases of employee compensation and performance ratings records.
Formulate annual compensation budget by scenario planning and data modeling so as to come
up with optimum compensation budget.
Conduct market research on into emerging compensation trends, issues and best practices.
Conduct periodic compensation audits and prepare compensation dashboards for presenting to
senior leaders of Lava International.
Ensuring compensation practices are compliant with current legislations.
Perform ad hoc compensation operational activities like inputs to payroll and preparing reports
related to employee compensation.
5-7 years of work experience as compensation specialist with strong exposure to compensation
design and analytics
Experience of managing at least 3 annual compensation review cycles.
Extensive knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, Dashboard preparations and Data Base
administration.
Familiarity with incentive design PLIs, Phantoms, Deferred cash and RSUs will be an added
advantage.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Have strong expertise in using statistical concepts like polynomial regression, logarithmic regression,
analysis of variance, Z score and Indexing.
Ideal Candidate
Should have handled large scale compensation structuring projects at least in 2 geographies.
Efficient in choosing statistical tools depending on the output required.
Should have the knowledge of appropriate pay mix for executives Base Pay, LTIs and STIs.

Indias Make in India initiative, we started our manufacturing operations in Apr 15 are now
steering the complete mobile phone design roadmap in India.

society as well as Government). Since inception LAVA had very high focus on its people &
consequently invested in getting the right talent & building the HR systems and processes to support

At this stage, we are looking for someone to lead & foster HR partnership with the sales function.
The HR business partnership will be ably supported by respective centers of excellence in HR.
