1. Teddy: 18, male, severe ankle sprain on both ankles

2. Christine: 17, female, mild ankle sprain on right

2. Compare the average Knee ABD for the entire class? Greatest degree? Least degree?

3. Compare the Knee ABD average for men and women in this class.

Conclusion: After doing this experiment, my hypothesis is correct in women will have a higher

valgus angle compared to men. With the evidence shown through the tests, women overall had a

higher angle average then men. I believe people with a higher valgus angle will have a higher

risk with the ACL because it puts the ACL in a state of tension quickly when it is at rest causing

it to tear. With people having a high valgus angle, some exercises people can do preventing the

risk of an ACL injury is by increasing the strength in their quads and hamstrings. This will make

them have more stability in their knee. Some workouts include front squats, back squats, leg

curls, and leg press.
