Natalie helped members develop cooking skills while also providing the foundaton for life skills development. Natalie incorporated themes such as community and culture through her development of an International Cooking program that included traditional recipes from the many cultures represented by our club members. Natalie demonstrated profound dedication to the organization and our members through heer development of meaningful and creative programming, heer ability to positively re-direct members when necessary, her capacity for empathetic and knowledge based one to ones with members when it was needed, and her consistency in presentuung herself as a positive, warm, and caring role model to her team, parents, children and to supervisors and management. One of Natalies key strengths is her ability to utilize her CYC knoweldge and identify strategies for change. Duting her time with the Tot after school program Natalie developed a re-direction system that encouraged members to adjust their behaviour and actively think about their actions, and created a group system to provide members with meaningful routine and structure. It takes an excceptional individual to build rapport and a profesisonal relationship with young people the way that Natalie has demonstrated through her time at Doverocurt Boys and Girls Club. As an individual, her commitment exceeds what is expected. Her energy, motivation, and ability to respeond to challenging situations will serve her well in her future endevours.
