Amphetamine[note 1] (contracted from alpha-

methylphenethylamine) is a potent central


nervous system (CNS) stimulant that is used
in the treatment of attention deficit
hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), narcolepsy,
and obesity. Amphetamine was discovered in
1887 and exists as two enantiomers:[note 2]
levoamphetamine and dextroamphetamine.

Marijuana refers to the dried leaves,


flowers, stems, and seeds from the
Cannabis sativa or Cannabis indica plant.
The plant contains the mind-altering
chemical THC and other similar
compounds. Extracts can also be made
from the cannabis plant.

Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is a pain reliever and a fever


reducer. The exact mechanism of action of is not known.

Paracetamol is used to treat many conditions such as headache,


muscle aches, arthritis, backache, toothaches, colds, and fevers.
It relieves pain in mild arthritis but has no effect on the
underlying inflammation and swelling of the joint.

Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It


works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in
the body.

Ibuprofen is used to reduce fever and treat pain or inflammation


caused by many conditions such as headache, toothache, back
pain, arthritis, menstrual cramps, or minor injury.
