Group Dynamics
5.6 Work in pairs or small groups to achieve
an agreed-upon goal.
ASSESSMENT
(Include any rubrics, quizzes, sheets, etc.)
STRATEGY FOR ASSESSMENT (How will you evaluate student progress of each objective?)
Cognitive:
After learning the information about folk dancing, students will complete the KWL chart.
Affective:
Groups/pairs will write down their goals, displaying it in the classroom. After the
performance, the students will do a performance review as group/pair to determine if
they accomplished their set out goal.
Psychomotor:
By the end, the students will be able to perform the dance successfully at a school
performance in front of an audience.
LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
STRATEGIES TO MEET DIVERSIFIED LEARNERS (English Learners, Students with Special
Needs)
The dance is partner based, to help ELA and neurodiversed students, I would pair them with partners
who would be able to help them with the dance and learning the correct moves.
MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT, and TECHNOLOGY NEEDED (bring music or similar items you
may need for your lesson presentation)
Students will start a KWL chart Students will participate in a KWL chart,
discussing what information they know, or want

This will cover the cognitive objective
