The document summarizes three parts of a conference focused on living a better life. The first speaker discussed the theology of the body and love as decision rather than just emotion. The second speaker shared his experience of being gay and finding happiness through marriage to a woman. The third speaker addressed HIV awareness, noting that while incurable, prevention through faithfulness, abstinence and education is important, and people should help those suffering without fear.

Another new knowledge again from this conference wherein three guest speakers tackled three topics which can be addition for a better life. This event was my first time to attend with, I never been in this kind of conference wherein the topic is much like putting God into your life. The event that has three consecutive part: The first speaker was Most Rv. Father Jose Elmer Mangalinao that talks about the Theology of the Body. The truth about ourselves and body, as we came from God we go back to God. It is true that everything is full of entertainment yet nothing is sacred. Just like love people often confused by the 7 deadly sins LUST (the beast that will consume you). The first question was What is the theology of the body? Theos which is God and Logos which is Science, the series of 129 talks given by Pope John Paul II. He said that human is a sign while body is a symbol where everything signifies. Sacred when there is close unity bet. the symbolizer and what is symbolized, So the body speak on behalf of God and the person. I THINK THEREFORE I AM-Rene Descartes, all of te reality dictated by mind and the senses. The human mind became the sore determinant of the meaning of life and reality. The call of Christian is not to be spiritual but to be incarnational- Pope John Paul II. Therefor we must let go to our addictions in life because there is great things to come. He then even tackled love that God is love therefor God is trinity. The three words of love eros (sense of sensuality), philia (sense of sentimentality), agape (sense of personally of value of the person) and the most very precious was agape that shows love is not only by emotion but it is a decision. There will be no renewal of marriage and the family w/o return to the full truth of Gods plan for the body and sexuality. The sin means to miss the mark of excellence. Overall for this first part of event essentially we yearn for something good but we miss the mark merely because we only think of ourselves not to thank those people mostly God for everything we received. The second speaker was Brother Ansel Beluso that talks about the Pastoral Care for Brethen with Same Sex Marriage. He tell a story about himself being a gay before that those time he got a lot of questions about himself being with different man and having doubt that this man of him which hes wishing to be his life time wont live him and find another better. Hes comparing the before and now wherein he got a wife that now those tons of question in his mind was filled with nothing but happiness and love to his wife. Answering the five question : What is the church says about homosexuality? He then says that things for those homo sexual are those confused about themselves sometimes early awakening of sexuality. What possible things will change a gay? Changing the word consente into disiplina in a good way they can be brought to counseling wherein things will be much discussed. As early as now children must be guided and watch by their parents . Overall for this second part of event there are no born child that is gay there are just things that are not explained by their parents thats why homo sexuality was developed. Shame on anyone dares to think that gayness is a disease.- Lea Salongga The last part was HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) Awareness wherein Father Estaban was the speaker. Saying that HIV maihahalintulad sa isang anay na sinisisira ng buong bahay na hindi natin namamalayan na wala na palang laman ang loob. Anyone can be infected by these no one can escape, hard to guess who will be and who are those infected. You can get hiv via: having sexual intercourse, pregnant woman whos infected by hiv, using injections that was infected by hiv, blood transmission that was infected by hiv. As he talks about how he then conclude that insect bite , toilet sharing, kissing, using utensils, and holding hands cannot transmit hiv . HIV is not curable but there are ways to prevent it by: being faithful to your partner, abstinence, conscience, no drug and alcohols, right education. Live with love not only for our life but also for those who suffer.A perfect love casts out fear. Maybe its time now to lend helping hands to them and cast their fear of dying and giving up.
