Entries will be entered in the catalog and judges books by heights, small to large.
FEES MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRIES. ENTRY FEES will not be refunded in event of errors or
cancellation of entries after the published closing date, nor in the event that a dog is
absent, disqualified, sick, lame, or excused by the Veterinarian or Judge or barred from
competition by the Bench Show Committee, or because the dog is ineligible to compete
because it is incorrectly entered. If because of riot, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond
the control of the management it is impossible to open the show, no refund of entry fee(s)
will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as but not limited to snow storms,
hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, must be considered for the health and safety of the
dogs, judges, exhibitors and spectators. The well being of dogs and participants is of
paramount importance and in the event, it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before
completion, no refund of entry fee will be made.
CONFIRMATION OF ENTRY & JUDGING SCHEDULE will be sent to the address on the
Official AKC entry form after the closing date. If an exhibitor has not received a copy of the
Judging Schedule the Show Secretary should be contacted.
DOGS NEED TO BE AT THE SHOW only at scheduled time of judging and may leave
immediately thereafter, unless required for further judging. DOGS MUST BE READY FOR
JUDGING. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or their agents
alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring.
CLOSING DATE for entries 3:00 PM, Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017 (at Secretarys Home) after
which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled or substituted except as provided for in
Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Dog Show Rules.
A RECORDING FEE of $.50 and $3.00 Event Service Fee will be required for each dog
entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. These
Fees are to be collected by the Show giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If
a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Service Fees are to be collected on
each entry. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2).
POST DATED CHECKS AND RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. The
Secretary will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequently
returned checks from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY
basis.

CANADIAN exhibitors must make fees payable in U.S. FUNDS. Please mail checks or
money orders with entries. Secretary assumes no responsibility for cash sent through the
mail.
CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING.
DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT
REQUIRED for further judging will be excused.
THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SECRETARY will use due care and diligence for the welfare of
dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of
an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show.
BITCHES IN SEASON: A refund will be made for a bitch that comes into season after the
Closing Date, provided that the request is accompanied by a Veterinarians certificate and is
received by the Trial Secretary prior to the start of judging.
Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians' recommendation to assure their dogs are
free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have
appropriate vaccinations.
DIRECTIONS
From Route 495: Take Exit 23B, Route 9 West. Once on Route 9, go 1.7 miles to Route 30
West (exit on right). In .1 mile turn right onto Route 30 for 1.5 miles. At the second set of
lights, turn left into Bay State Commons. Follow the access road through the shopping
center, staying to the left for .4 miles. Keep Stein Mart on your right and follow the road
behind Stein Mart. Turn left onto Brigham St. *(a gravel road), follow for .2 miles then turn
right into the parking lot. Keep the building on your left. The Surefire entrance is on the left
towards the end of the building.
From the Mass Pike traveling East: Take Exit 11, Route 122, Millbury. After paying toll, go
right off the exit ramp on 122 South for 1.5 miles. Take a left onto Bridge St, Route 30
East for .2 miles. At the first light, go right following Route 30 East for 6 miles into the
Westborough rotary. Take the second right out of the rotary onto Brigham St. Continue on
Brigham St for .7 miles *then follow directions above.
From 135 North: Follow 135 No. into the Westborough rotary. Take the first right out of
the rotary onto Brigham St. Continue for .7 miles. * follow directions above.
From Rt. 30 East: Follow 30 East into the Westborough rotary. Take the second right out
of the rotary onto Brigham St. Go for .7 miles, *follow directions above.
Please note that many GPS systems are incorrectly sending to Cottage St.
Pay close attention to the driving directions. The town of Westborough does not
allow postings on phone or other poles. Exhibitors may not park in front of the
loading bays in the building space adjacent to SureFire. Parking is allowed only close
to the facility, along the woods across from the entrance, and along the railroad
tracks at the far end of the building. Please follow the directions of the attendant.
After getting lost the first time I went there, here are a couple of hints.
If you miss the access road and go as far as the Rotary, go around till you see the 7/11
then take a right onto Brigham Street, go to the end to the truck terminal, SureFire is in the
end of the building. Alice

NOTICE: A recording fee of $0.50 will be required for each first entry entered at any

will be paid on each entry. These fees are included in the entry fee and paid to the
American Kennel Club by the show giving club.
Canadian entries must be paid with International Money Orders or their equivalent.
