ABSTRACT
Hcl is an Indian and multinational IT company which has its headquarters in Noyda,Uttar
Pradesh. In 1976, a group of six engineers, all former employees of Delhi Cloth & General
Mills, led by Shiv Nadar, started a company that would make personal computers. Initially
floated as Microcomp Limited, Nadar and his team started selling teledigital calculators to
gather capital for their main product. On 11 August 1976, the company was renamed to HCL.
In 1991 HCL ventured into the software service businesses. Hcl gives services like
consulting,enterprisetransformation,engineering & R&D, remote infrastructure management,
bpo. The company has offices in 34 countries including the United States, France and Germany,
and the United Kingdom. It operates across sectors including aerospace and defense,
automotive, consumer electronics, energy and utilities, financial services, government,
industrial manufacturing, life sciences and healthcare, media and entertainment, mining and
natural resources, public services, retail and consumer, semiconductor, server and storage,
telecom, and travel, transportation, logistics, and hospitality. The first Indian ICT manufacturer
to launch RoHS compliant laptops. The first to launch a PVC & BFR free laptop in India. HCL
has been involved in criticism and litigation involving the H-1B visa program to replace U.S.
Workers with cheaper foreign labor, including the Disney collusion lawsuit, and the heavily
reported case of replacing University of California's San Francisco Medical Center IT workers.

ABSTRACT
In 1972, five entrepreneurs in Germany had a vision for the business potential of technology.
Starting with one customer and a handful of employees, SAP set out on a path that would not
only transform the world of information technology, but also forever alter the way companies
do business. Now 45 years and approximately 345,000 customers stronger, more than ever,
SAP is fueled by the pioneering spirit that inspired its founders to continually transform the IT
industry.Standard application software for real-time data processing is developed. Taking the
initial form of a private partnership under the German Civil Code, the company establishes its
headquarters in Weinheim, Germany, and opens an office in nearby Mannheim. However,
SAP's five founders spend most of their time in the data centers of their first customers, which
include the German branch of Imperial Chemical Industries in stringen. Companies can now
handle their purchasing, inventory management, and invoice verification with SAP's RM
system.SAP expands its product portfolio with RV, a custom development for sales and
distribution. SAP takes a defining step to the next frontier in the cloud: a secure, real-time
business network to reinvent commerce between companies. Starting in 2012 with Ariba, it
expands in mid-2014 with Fieldglassand contract workforces. At the end of 2014, SAP
completes the acquisition of Concur, the largest software-as-a-service acquisition in history,
adding the US$1.2 trillion business travel market to the scope of SAPs leadership position in
the business network.
