My topic for this upcoming project is surgery amongst adolescent and my major
is psychology. The main connection between my major and cosmetic surgery is
the cause and effect of it, in other words the reasoning. For example, what lead
the adolescent to receive this procedure? They can be only two answers for this
question and that is, if its a medical procedure that is needed to improve ones
health or an insecurity present to improve ones physical appearance. When I first
received my topic, I was quite surprised for it was not something often heard of
,but as psychology major there has to be connection between these two and the
purpose is informative giving causes and reason behind the issue.
