1a. My rehearsal threads and goals for today are to explore the meaning of Ding Dong
Merrily on High and to focus on having clearer diction throughout the verses with
long phrases
1d. Please take out a pencil! I would like you to mark mezzo forte in measure 1,
mezzo piano in measure 5, and mezzo forte in measure 9. In the last beat of
measure 14 please write in a crescendo over the phrase hosanna in the
highest.
TRANSITION WITH: 3sra. Great job! Lets now move to a diction review

1d Thank you for sharing. This piece reminds me of my first time singing for lessons &
carols with my church and how excited everyone was for the service. I would love
if everyone could convey their experiences through their dynamics and faces while
we sing this piece. And I will show my experience on my face and through my
gestures as well!
