Cooperative Learning Action Plan

How will I incorporate Cooperative Learning in my classroom:


I will use: Find Someone Who with letters and sight words for
learning and reviewing letter names and sounds.

Steps to achieve this goal: Resources needed: Timeline:

Each student has a paper and pencil. They find a partner and ask
them something from their sheet. Students ask each other Do you
know one of these letters/words? If the student knows a
letter/word, they will write their name or initials in the box with
that letter/word. Then roles will switch. Once both students have
marked their initials on the OTHER persons paper then they take
their own paper and find a new partner.

Example:
Mark: Scott, do you know a letter on the page? One week for Letter pages
Scott: Yes, I know the letter S. (Scott then marks his initials on Marks Find Someone Who Letter pages
paper in the box with S)
Find Someone Who Sight Word One week for Sight Word pages
Scott: Mark, do you know a letter on the page?
Mark: Yes, I know the letter M. (Mark then marks his initials on Scotts pages Review often throughout the
paper in the box with M) year
Scott: Thank you.
Mark: Thank you
Each student takes their paper and finds a new partner
As the year progresses, add more letters and words to the Find Someone Who Letter pages One week for letter pages
One week for Sight Word pages
Find Someone Who Letter pages and Find Someone Who Find Someone Who Sight Word
Sight Word pages pages Review often throughout the

When we start learning sounds then start a Find Someone
