SYNOPSIS

Proposed site is a part of most important of historical central capital complex Lutyens
Delhi and crucially located in vicinity of India Gate and Urban Centre Connaught Place.
It is also a part of all important heritage structures of Lutyens Delhi. It will become
countries pride after considering all physical, cultural and climatic aspect. Proposed
landmark building is conceived with the traditional Indian planning aspect of courtyard
planning interwoven function with structures unifying spirit of our great country
INDIA. The proposed complex will not only be show the great history of our brave
Indian army but also the poetic journey of every part of India and all communities along
with their great contribution preserving statues powerful country.
All structures will be reflecting the traditional spirit, Indian traditional architecture in
modern form promoting discipline sense of belonging of our brave soldiers. Structures
are planned with courtyard, screens, reflecting pictures and great landscaping to achieve
one the best landmark memorial to instill courage, bravery and honour for the great
nation of our and the heroic Indian army amongst the incoming generation.
A Lot of emphasis will be given to young generation in order to feel proud of our forces
and build determination in them to join and serve their country. Entrance to the complex
is proposed from one of the inner roads. Large Parking area with 2 levels will be planned.
Parking / Ticketing and cafeterias will be separated from the main complex with wide
internal road. Entry to the Complex will be by large inviting canopy to main entrance hall
with required facilities. Main entrance Hall will lead to main exhibition hall catering to
three services in three levels with interesting walkways and approaches to main
exhibition hall. Further this hall will lead to three independent structures with common
courtyard. These three structures are planned for history section, library, restoration,
conference room and auditorium with a capacity of 100 people. These all structures will
be connected to audio/video visual literature display area along with open air theatre and
open display area. From this section grand tunnel passage will be created with picture
gallery, audio/video visual commentary, patriotic songs and music leading to war
memorial India gate.
All the elements and structures will be beautifully interwoven with landscaping with
walkways, water pools and external lightings to make it the proud moments of every
citizen who visit the place. All electromechanical service with administrative is
centralized planned on edges of encroached area with separate service road. All
traditional and modern elements will be planned to make the complex with green
building norms once completed this great landmark will keep inspiring future generation
love and respect for their army and country.
