SUMMARY OF RESULTS

This report addresses the factory acceptance testing performed by Schneider Electric on the 2500A
MCC Panel to be installed at MWOG Central Processing Facility,Kwale,Delta State.Testing and
acceptance were in accordance with approved BS/IEE verification plan and EPCM PO number

The purpose of the testing was to verify proper operation of the MCC Panel. The MCC met all
acceptance criteria as outlined in BS/IEE approved test plan and functioned properly during the
testing except as noted in the discrepancy report contained in Appendix B and discussed in Section
4.1 of this report

There were four discrepancy reports recorded during the testing. The brief description of the
discrepancy reports are as follows:

The trip lamp was ON even when the trip signal was on reset as listed on the test plan.

This discrepancy is discussed in detailed in Section 4.1 and documented in discrepancy report in
Appendix C.The fuses installed in the panel passed all testing as outlined in the test plans prepared in
accordance with the QA program. All fuse testing was performed at Schneider Facility,Lagos.

The Panel factory acceptance test data is contained in Appendix A.All panel testing was performed at
Schneider Facility,Lagos.

EQUIPMENT IDENTIFICATION

CABINET AND BREAKERS

The panel is a low voltage switchgear. The unit consists of wide vertical sections with motorized
circuit breakers, transformers, contactors and soft starters associated instrumentation and device
are as identified in the design drawings.

The circuit breakers and panel are rated as follow:

Nominal operating voltage 415V

Rated Current 2500A

Interrupt rating

Nominal control voltage 24Vdc

FUNCTION

The function of the panel is to provide power to CPF Facility Load users and interrupt power on trip
signal.

The test plan stated to press the reset button of the trip relay to trip the circuit breaker and starter
and automatically activates the trip lamp ON. The trip LAMP ON was still ON after the reset of the
relay. The purpose of this test is to perform the trip LAMP condition when there is a short circuit or
overload condition. To correct this on the logic, the relay was wired in parallel. The relay then
actuates and closes a contact a contact in series with trip lamp and producing the correct circuit
progression to ensure opening of the relay when the fault has been cleared.
MODIFICATION

There were no modifications as a result of the FAT testing.

FAT OPEN ITEMS

There were no opened items at the completion of the FAT.

RESULT AND CONCLUSION

Based on the completion of the FAT as per the approved verification plan and acceptable resolution
of the discrepancy result discussed above, the MCC panel is acceptable to be used in MWOG CPF
Facility.

QUALITY ASSURANCE

Project activities were performed in accordance with the EPCM Quality Assurance as per CPF De-Bot.
which meets the requirement of BS/IEE and ASME
