Admissions are offered in the following disciplines for MS/M. Phil & PhD Degree programs. Application forms are
available at HBL & UBL University Campus branches against Rs.1000/- Prospectus Fee. Applications complete in all
respect must reach the Admission office on or before 20.12.2017 during office timings.
Online Admission Procedure:
Candidates may apply online as per procedure given below:
Step 1: Visit www.icp.edu.pk/admission; Step 2: Create an online account; Step 3: Fill online registration form.
Step 4: Print the online form; Step 5: Deposit Rs.1000/- at any UBL online branch in the specified account titled:
Online Admissions Islamia College Peshawar A/C No.223490482 (Bank slip is attached with online printed form). No
service charges. Step 6: Send complete form along with original bank slip to the Admission Office, Islamia College
Peshawar, through Courier Services / Registered Post within due date.

One year Diploma in Professional Clinical Psychology

Criteria for Genetics: 16 years of schooling or 4 year education (at least 124 credit hours) after HSSC/F.A/F.Sc /Grade 12
equivalent in Biological/Medical Sciences including Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology or equivalent degrees and other relevant
disciplines.
Criteria for English: For admission to Ph. D in English, the eligibility shall be MS/MPhil (with thesis) of Minimum 02 year
duration with a CGPA of 3 or above on the scale of 4.
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
a) For Admission to MS/ MPhil Degree Program
Master Degree in the relevant discipline or 16 years of education/BS-4 years (minimum 133 credit hours) with at least 2nd
Division (annual system) or CGPA of 2.50 on the scale of 4.0 (Semester system) from HEC recognized university or degree
awarding Institution. The relevancy of the Master/BS Degree (16 years of education & credits earned) shall be decided by
Graduate Study Committee (GSC) of the respective discipline of Islamia College Peshawar.
b) For Admission to Ph.D Program
1) The candidate must possess MS/ M. Phil (with thesis) or 18 years of education with CGPA 3.0/4.0 in the relevant discipline.
2) The candidate is required to pass the GRE subjective test (with at least 60% Marks) prior to admission or transfer as the case
may be. Subjects for which GRE test is not available will be conducted by the GSC and committee (constituted by ASRB) of the
respective discipline.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
Admissions will be purely on merit basis as per following criteria: Terminal Degree (40%), Admission Test (50%) and interview
conducted by GSC (10%). The GRE General or GRE subject shall have no weight in deciding the merit but treated as the
mandatory requirement of the degree program.
SCHEDULE FOR TEST AND INTERVIEW
Scrutiny of documents, entrance test and interview will be conducted by GSC of each department as per regulations of Higher
Studies & Research of ICP within the stipulated time. The candidates are required to inculcate that No separate call letters for
test/interview will be issued. For confirmation of the date of interview, the candidate must contact the respective
department(s). The list of the pass/qualified candidates shall be displayed on the notice boards of the relevant Department and
or website of the university.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Applicant must bring original documents at the time of interview. 2. Full fee must be deposited at the time of interview.
3. Application forms shall not be entertained after the due date & time. 4. Candidates failing to appear before the Admission
Committee on the notified date & time shall lose the right of admission. 5. Applicant will be responsible for ensuring timely
delivery of courier. Documents/Courier received after the last date will be returned to the service provider. 6. Hard copy of
the online printed form and attested photocopies of documents must reach the Admission office, Islamia College Peshawar on
or before the last date. 7. Original Bank slips (ICP copy & Bank computerized slip) must be attached with the online printed
admission form. A form without prescribed slip(s) will not be entertained/processed. 8. Government/Semi-Government
employees must apply through proper channel along with NOC from their respective parent department. 9. Hostel facility is
not available at the moment. Rules regarding Higher Studies & Research remain intact as per rules/regulations of ICP. 10.
Admission will be given subject to the availability of the Supervisor in the field of study/research strictly according to the HECs
requirements. 11. Incomplete and late applications shall not be entertained. 12. For updates, merit list of admitted scholars
