r r Gaura Nitai Pj

Based on Bhaktivinode's Sakepa-arcana-paddhati

(All activities can be done by meditation if they cannot be done externally.

Those who are not initiated may perform without chanting the mantras simply
meditating on the meanings.)

In the early morning, after taking bath, the sdhaka should sit on an sana
(seat) and face east. While touching the water in the pacaptra, he should
summon all the trthas by chanting the following mantra:

gage ca yamune caiva godvari sarasvati

narmade sindho kveri jalesmin sannidhi kuru

O Gag, O Yamun, O Godvar, O Sarasvat, O Narmad, O Sindhu, O

Kver, please become present in this water.

He should sprinkle the water on his head than say camana:

o viu sip
o viu sip
o viu sip
wash hands

or

o keavya nama sip water from brhma trtha of right hand

o nryaya nama sip water from brhma trtha of right hand
o mdhavya nama sip water from brhma trtha of right hand
wash hands

Put on tilaka with gopcandana or with touch each place with water:

o keavya nama
o nryaya nama
o mdhavya nama
o govindya nama
o viave nama
o madhusdanya nama
o trivikramya nama
o vmanya nama
o rdharya nama
o hkeya nama
o padmanbhya nama
o dmodarya nama
o vsudevya nama

"When one marks the forehead with tilaka, he must remember Keava. When
one marks the lower abdomen, he must remember Nryaa. For the chest, one
should remember Mdhava, and when marking the hollow of the neck one
should remember Govinda. Viu should be remembered while marking the
right side of the belly, and Madhusdana should be remembered when marking
the right arm. Trivikrama should be remembered when marking the right
shoulder, and Vmana should be remembered when marking the left side of the
belly. rdhara should be remembered while marking the left arm, and Hkea
should be remembered when marking the left shoulder. Padmanbha and
Dmodara should be remembered when marking the back. Touch the top of the
head with the water used to wash one's hand remembering Vsudeva.

Remember one's gurus (teachers) and pray for their permission to worship the
deities:

asmad gurubhyo nama obeisances to all my teachers

asmat parama gurubhyo nama obeisances to all their teachers
asmat sarva gurubhyo nama obeisances to all teachers
