Opening: Engage and teaching
Time: 15- minutes
I will tell the students a story thats related to the skip counting to warm them up,
and I will be skip counting by 10s and I will ask them HOTS questions such as
how did I counted the money? why did I counted using this strategy?.

Practice Activities
Time: 20 minutes

Activity 1 (MA) Activity 2 ( LA)

I will give the students a work sheet for each I will give each group an ice cream cone
group and each group will have different and ice cream scoop with numbers on them

to solve it on the board.

General Comments

This lesson was my first lesson in my TP, so I have many things to recommend on
them and what should I develop for my next steps in teaching.
Recommendations / future personal targets / areas of focus

The first thing I will be recommending on is the activities, all the activities in this
lesson need more creativity and objects where the students will be touching and
sensing the objects instead of only solving the questions in the book or on a worksheet,
because the students in younger age have to learn by using objects and having hands
on activities. And for my personal targets I will be focusing on my voice and my
classroom management strategies to control the behavior in the classroom.
