Dear Sir,

I wish to express my interest in the Siemens Graduate Program. I am keen to be a part of the Financial Services
vertical and believe that the role holds a close match with my prior experience and future ambitions.

My desire to gain global exposure led me to pursue a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign, a top-5 Engineering school in the USA. Apart from acquiring a strong
technical foundation, I also had the opportunity to lead a culturally diverse team and interact with peers from various
nationalities. I believe that this exposure will enhance my contribution in a globally oriented program.

My 2.5 year stint at KPMG has equipped me with a structured approach to analyzing the financing needs of a
company. As a part of the Transaction Advisory team, I have helped advise several strategic and financial investors
on equity investments as well as fundraising efforts. Through the analysis of financial statements, MIS reports and
operational data, I have gained a nuanced perspective on the impact of financing on value creation. Going forward, I
would like to leverage my experience in M&A and also my technical background in order to drive initiatives that will
address these funding requirements. The Siemens SGP would provide me with an ideal platform to achieve this goal.

I firmly believe that my educational background coupled with my relevant experience in financial services put me in
an ideal position to integrate the technical and financing aspects of the business. These, along with my aspiration for a
leadership role make me a strong candidate for the role.
