Project description

The client of the project is the federal government

communication affairs office and the contractor is Teklebirehan
Ambay construction and the consultant is yohannes abbay with
the sub consultant MGM consult PLC.
The project is located around 4 kilo and have three blocks named
as Block A , Block B and Block C. Block A has 4 basement and 3
story with an area of 1175m2 , Block B has 2 basement and 16
story with an area of 1250m2 , Block C has 2 basement and 4
story with an area of 2175m2.
The full project planned cost is 1.2 billion birr.

Conclusion
Construction is currently the fastest growing sector in Ethiopia.
Being competent among the difference organization and
professionals calls for knowledge, experience management skills
and so much more.
In this company we have seen a lot of things about civil
engineering work during the intern. Especially it gave us an
insight into the professional side of construction works.
Generally working in TACON company has been very
educating. And helps me acquire lots of knowledge relating with
my classroom study.

The things I wanted to recommend for the company are the

followings
They should let the students perform some of the tasks given to
the engineers so that the students will gain all the knowledge they
can possibly get
Work has not been done in the schedule so they should give a
solution as much as possible
