Method: DR 2800 (Spectrophotometric)
Testing Time: 5 min

1. Select the Program Color using the DR2800.

2. Pour the distilled water in the pour through cell (25 ml) and press Zero.

3. Pour the Raw Water sample through and press Read.

4. Results (for Raw Water color) are measured in PtCo units.

5. Pour the distilled water in the pour through cell (25 ml) second time and press Zero.

6. Pour the Clarified Water sample through and press Read.

7. Results (for Clarified water color) are measured in PtCo units.

Notes:

Always pour through the distilled water and Press Zero, before taking sample
readings, especially in case of multiple samples to insure the accurate results.

Allow the entire sample to drain through the sample cell before pressing Read button.

Pour gently and make sure no bubbles are present in the sample cell, as Bubbles may
cause false readings.
