CAREER OBJECTIVE
My mission statement in this Ready, Set, Teach program is to inspire and reach out to
kids through volunteering/student teaching while also learning about and experiencing
the joy that comes with a future career in teaching and education. While focusing on
patience, love, respect, and building a safe and fun classroom, I intend to find a passion
for the schooling pathway while also helping to interact with the students by helping
them to grow themselves and their knowledge for life.

I enjoy participating in community service activities in my community and

Problem Solving Experience:


Peer Mediation for 3 years

Student Council member in community service committee

PALS for 1 year along with Teen Leadership

Ready, Set, Teach for 2 years (helping teach students in a classroom 4 out of 5 days a

week for 2 hours a day.)

Child Developmentfor 1 year (learning more about children and the way they think,

act, and function.)

Tutoring (learning how to work with others and adaptto certain situations.)

Team Work Experience:


PALS (learning how to work with others and being open to new experiences and

people.)

Teen Leadership (learning how to be confident in working by yourself and with

McKinney Youth Leadership (doing activities and projects while working in a team

and growing independently as well.)

Executive board member of Key Club (having to adapt and be comfortable in

working with other officers in creating projects and ideas for the year.)

President of my youth organization (having to be aware of the girls needs and being

able to help accomplish them with the other members of the presidency.)
Organizational and Dependability Experience:
Ready, Set, Teach (we have to be organized with all of our assignments and

documents and be dependable to leave campus in order to get to our field site.)

National junior Honor Society (i had to be organized with all of the paperwork and

be depended on to not lose them.)

Partners P.E. (We have to be dependable to come to class and handle our special

needs student partner.)

Student Council Community Service Committee (have to be dependable to get our

hours done on time and make sure we keep our commitments within the

organization.)
