The autumn season begins with a sense of change. The cool, crisp breezes
bring back youthful memories of summers long past and school days. At HCA,
we believe that lifelong education in the arts is essential to the growth and
vitality of ourselves, each other and our community at large. The arts are truly
meant to be celebrated and shared with one another. It is this which creates a
sense of urgency to begin something new and create and share your passion for
the arts with your community this autumn.
At HCA, as we publish our Fall and Winter 2010-2011 Catalog, we feel
the same sense of longing to take the time to learn something new. This fall and
winter we are offering many new classes and workshops. We hope you will take
time this year to discover your own creativity!
Our Mission: Just a few of our new classes this fall include an expanded Musical Theater

Center for the Arts is offering many different holiday workshops for children
and adults. See page 3 for a listing on our Holiday workshops.
Hinsdale Center for the Arts is a wonderful place to explore creativity and
we encourage everyone from beginners to advanced, young, old and in between,
to take a class or workshop, enroll in music or dance lessons and visit our art

Modern Dance Program
HCA’s popular modern dance program encompasses classes for all abilities! Tanja’s hip
hop classes for boys and girls feature multiple dance techniques and encourage confidence
through dance. Adult Cardio Dance classes offer a great workout as well as learning new
dance steps and movement. Tanja has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of
dance performance and education. Tanja’s warmth, gentle encouragement and passion for
her work allows her to form a deep connection with everyone who works with her.
