Characteristics of lines of Zero degrees longitude which passes through Greenwich in London

longitude is a prime meridian. All other lines of longitude are number East or
West of this line.
Lines of longitude pass through the poles.
Each line forms a semi-circle.
Two lines together form a Great Circle as they are of equal
circumference.
Lines of longitude converge towards the poles.
Lines of longitude extend from 00 to 1800 east and west of the
Prime Meridian.
Time The earth takes 24 hours to cover 3600 longitude. This means that it
covers 150 longitude in 1 hour (360/24) or 1 longitude in 4 minutes (60/15).
