Introduction
Local Code Upgrade Client Temenos will Provide 5 Days training and
support by way of providing clarifications.
SIT Core issues fixed by Temenos and Local
Client issues by Client. Onsite SIT and UAT support
UAT by Temenos.
The below project streams are considered as the scope of the upgrade from R10 to R17.
The above will be delivered over a period of approximately three weeks, which
includes both on-site attendance to work with your team, remote preparation
and report writing.
3. Technical Upgrade from R10 to This project stream deals with the actual upgrade of the T24 Software from R10
R17 (Including 3 weeks of to R17. Temenos has performed a very large number of upgrades successfully

The Client will be responsible to perform the local code conversion & its testing
and bug fixing. Temenos will provide support by sharing knowledge in this area
about the procedures and standards.
➢ Amendment of delivery module related customisation (DE data records locally altered including
customised programs written by CLIENT) and testing of delivery related test cases is the responsibility
of CLIENT and is not within the Scope of TEMENOS activities.
➢ Redesigning of any subroutines processed via EB.PHANTOM and tSS to TSA.SERVICE will not be
within the Scope of the Project.
➢ Conversion of Internal API’s and Files, which are not published in the user guides, used in the Local
Developments is out of Scope of the Project.
➢ All Training other then local code upgrade training is out of scope and needs to be ordered separately
and at T&M rates.
➢ 1 month of Post Live support is provided if further Post Live support or further Testing support is
required this has to be purchased additionally at T&M rates
➢ Delivering copy of the Client Software Environment to Temenos. The environment should
not have any mismatches should not be a month-end or year-end date. If the
environment given for upgrade has a mismatch the upgraded environment will be
returned with the same mismatch.
➢ Delivering clean, debugged Test Scripts for Temenos to test local code Offsite after
upgrade.
➢ Preparing test plan covering SIT and UAT.
➢ Preparing for actual upgrade by conducting mock upgrades Onsite with the assistance of
Temenos.
➢ Arranging for the Onsite hosted upgrade T24 environments with reliable and fast VPN
connection.
➢ Client should undertake pre-upgrade clean-up activities before delivering a copy of the
software environment to Temenos.
➢ Planning & co-ordination of Workshops and Interviews
➢ Providing suitable executive level support from MBL during the entire engagement
➢ Providing MBL Process Know How (engaging Subject Matter Experts for different
process areas for participation in Workshops and interviews)
➢ Providing all relevant information on our consultant’s request
➢ Agreement on overall value proposition for upgrade and the approach to be taken.
➢ Client shall be responsible for local code conversion, testing, onsite mock runs, executing SIT and UAT,
and any other Testing processes agreed between the client and Temenos during the initiation stage of
the upgrade (whether non-functional Testing, penetration Testing, operational Testing or otherwise), with
support from Temenos for any issues relating to system behavior, security access, performance as
detailed below.
➢ If the CLIENT R10 environment provided for the scoping exercise contains GL difference then the
upgraded environment will also contain the same GL difference, which is accepted by the client.
➢ SIT and UAT shall be ready to commence after the Client has completed successfully the 2nd round of
mock upgrade onsite.
➢ For each cycle of Testing the Client shall assess any issues, filtering out test script errors, tester errors,
training, hardware and other environment issues and then categorize and document any remaining
Software Issues.
➢ Availability of client’s staff in all required areas such as Architecture, T24 Application, Database and
provision of prompt information to the Temenos team would be required.
➢ The current scope only involves the analysis phase for the Arrangement Architecture module and at the
end of the analysis phase a analysis report and a high level estimation will be provided for the
execution phase for the AA module. This execution phase will be a separate project with separate
commercials.
This fees exclude any applicable taxes and includes all associated travel and
accommodation expenses.
This fees does not include any license cost for any new modules.

➢ The Client and Temenos to come to an agreement on the scope and cost of the
current proposal.
➢ The client and Temenos need to enter into a MSA and subsequently sign the
SOW.
