DRC, EGYPT, AND MALI IN THE AFRICAN SOCCER LEAGUE

The Democratic Republic of Congo it a big country in the middle of Africa, and it

super rich country with multiple diversity, however like other countries in the continent,

the government is corrupt since it independence in 1960. Until then the country have

been in multiple conflict “up and down” and have been in dictatorship for 32 years and

won it first African Cup of Nation back in 1968.

To the other hand the soccer teams of the country are the trade most players in

the world especially with European countries such as “France, Belgium, as well as

England”according to the worldgeography. But still the country should be ready to

confront Egypt or Mali in the african cup of nation to be qualified for the world cup.

As we all know when we talk about competition it all about playing hard to win the

championship. The big DRC didn’t win any AFC before it first in 1963 and waited until

2006 and two more consecutive victory in 2009 and 2010 according to supersport

magazine. As one of their biggest opponent of all time Egypt is one of the successful

team in the history of the africa cup of nation with a top record of seven tournament on

the roll are they going to do the same this year? (bbc sport)

In this tournament is not only about two countries, there is also Mali which is the

most competitive in this tournament and many others according to bbc sport, couple

years ago Mali and Egypt meet in the african cup of nation but there wasn’t no official

winner of the game sky sport said, and to the other hand in 2016 the Democratic

republic of congo won against Mali in the tournament by 3-0 and that was the final game

of the african cup of nation according to the statistic publish by FIFA world cup, and by

that evidence we can state that the democratic republic of congo can beat Egypt.

And speaking about the world cup the democratic republic of congo is ranked on

the 35th position for the way to Russia and let notice that the democratic republic of

congo back in the has been qualified two times for the world cup, also let notice that

even egypt as the “most successful team in the continent of Africa” they didn’t make the

world cup for the last 28 year and this season they are ranked on the 30th position

which is a great comeback according to FIFA, and this year is qualified second best

team after nigeria for the world cup in 2018 thing that’s not too bad for the democratic

republic of congo because statistically speaking according to the ranking position they

just at five spot after Egypt.

But unfortunately the DRC’s not going to be on it way to Russia this year but still

have one of greatest comeback this season “from 72 position to 35th” (espnfc), but well

one season it over another start for the DRC’s TP Mazembe who are at this point

dominating the African Cup of Nation (espn).

After making some more research on different statist on the new upcoming

season of the African Cup of Nation BBC and ESPN had pretty much the same result

which made the same inference that the TP Mazembe from DRC might be the most

promising team to win the championship and if so there might be a chance in the

upcoming classification these teams to face each other, it might be one of the

opportunity to determine whether or not DRC can face Egypt or Mali in the competition.
